Family - November 2006

For my birthday my sister in law totally surprised me and bought me a very special and personal gift. Something I have always wanted. I was so touched it brought me to tears. I feel now I should get her something nice also. We go out for breakfast once a month (we don't live very close). What do you get a person that has everything and lives alone?

i have a issue with my sister...she is 27 we are about 14 or 15 years apart she is doing something really bad..she said she stopped 4 me but she still does it...its not sexual or anything but she does marajuana...and i am very scared 4 her because i love her...what can i do?

My daughter is going to have to get an mri done because shes complaining of headaches well the doctor wants a complete medical history...I'm going to call my daughters biological father and ask his mother....Do I have to tell them whats going on with my daughter? I had begun to let them see her in 2005 and then they told me to leave them alone...and I have done so til now that she is having problems...I just want to know the facts..but how to i ask them without having to tell them whats going on? thanks!

13 yo stepdaughter shows no empathy towards anyone. She never seems happy or sad. She never gets excited about things. She is very selfish. She made her dad cry and she brags about it to her friends. She won't talk to us. Whenever we ask her if something is wrong, she says "I don't know". We cannot get her to talk. Took her to counseling and she wouldn't talk. At our wit's end. We don't know what to do with her. Is this normal behavior? What else can we do?

Do you ever feel you are all alone in this world?
I don't at the time but have on occasion in the past when things got so rough I didn't feel able to cope so i just want to say to anyone out there that doesn't feel loved today I am sending my Love and prayers to you hang in there and things will get better. I Love You and so does God

my daughter was murdered 11 months ago and sometimes it's hard to cope and I'm sure we have all had bad days

My mother tells me that i need to lay off the sweets,chips,soda ect. so when i threw out some of this stuff she yells at me for wasting it!!

I keep seeing all of these Aunts bragging about their Nieces or Nephews. What is up with that? They brag more than the grandparents or even the parents sometimes. I see them with their nephew or niece's picture as their avatars, I see them posting pictures on forums, etc., etc.

Why are they so proud of something that they had nothing to do with the creation of and why do they go around acting as though they had something to do with the creation... ?

This is just something that I keep noticing more and more for some reason.

ok so my mom and i are in kuwait right now, i came to visit for a couple months and make some tax free money and spend some time with her. alcohol is illegal here and she is wasted all the time dont get me wrong i drink with her but she drinks until she drops, and i came here to be with my mom soberish, sometimes, she gets fuc*ed up and says really harsh comments. it hurts even though im drinking with her and i know she's drunk is it all my fault and im just thinking too much about the whole situation? i would love n e advise

my fiance and i are living with my mom for a couple of months to save up money for the the our baby that we are having in march.last night my fiance got off work and came to my moms house . i was hungary so he went to get me something to eat so him and my sister went. when he to taco bell . so when he came home he told me that my fiance told that my sister was telling him i was a snitch and i get on her nerves when i tell my mom on her . the only reason i tell my mom anything is because she is rebellios she is 19 years old and my mom has to tell her do everything like a little child .my mom is a sinlge parent and my sister is the last one the lives with her. she sneaks out at night then when my mom talks to her about it she blames me in a way for examlple she will say you spend too much time with deandra which is me and that why she does what she does. which is a lie she spends the same amount of time with both of us my question is is she wrong for talking about me to my fiance

as you can see in one of my other questions, my sister is going crazy. well what disease does she have? just now she got SUPER mad... she threw a chair at my PS2, knocked my drink out of my hand, spit on the floor, and was yelling like a roaring drunk. then 3 minutes later my mom got home from the store and she got all happy and started saying "IM NEVER SAD HAHAHA (fake laugh) ME ALWAYS HAPPY !! What would you do?
My dad decided today that i was having a bad attitude. He took me a ticket to a football game i was planning to go to tonight. A very important game. When he did that i lost my temper and he was real harsh on me for it ( hard punishment) and he warned me to not even consider sneaking out to go or else and not sulk over it cuz i looked for it . I really want to go to the game. My dad is very strict so things like talking wont work.

What would you do ?
A. Look for the ticket , steal it and sneak out and go to the game
B. Don't see the game

Ok, my parents force me to go to mass every Sunday and "holy day". Including those ones that I've never heard of. I'm 17 now and I think I should be allowed to make my own choices, but no. It's my dad's fault anyway. He's the one who has us going to mass all the bloody time. If I told my parents that I didn't believe in God (I don't know what to believe and I don't care either, I'm happy enough to wait until I die to find out) they'd (or HE would) probably go crazy. I understand it's what they believe in but they can't go shoving their religious crap down my throat and then getting angry when I complain. I know my mum wouldn't mind what I believe in but she still shouts at me when I try to talk about it because it's what my dad wants and everything seems to be up to him. I'm afraid to talk to anyone now because nobody will listen. Sorry I sound horrible and I don't mean any offence, I probably am in the wrong but I get so angry about having to keep my mouth shut.

My brother has always been our mother's favorite. He makes more money than I and can buy her anything she wants. She prefers to do things with him and they always say I love you to each other. They leave me out of their conversations. My mom has said I remind her of my dad, which she had divorced, so maybe that has something to do with it. I live with her, my brother doesn't. He doesn't see all the many things she gripes about all the time and I think her griping and complaining has put stress on my relationship with her. My brother comes over every day to visit (he lives next door). They go in her room and shut the door, leaving me completely out. I've asked her before why he's her favorite but she denies it. My brother always has to be hero. She recently went the hospital with cancer and had surgery. My brother had to take over the situation and acted like he's the only one that can help her or do things for her. The rejection is painful but I hate to break all ties with her.

i left my abusive husband when my son was 3 months old.. im now dating a guy that i have knew for 3 years... my x has no rights to my son anymore... and my boyfriend is excited about my son being his too.... he even shows pple my sons pic and tells pple that he is his... we are talking about marriage, but are not engaged yet.... shoud i feel funny about him telling pple that my sons is his.. or is okay for me to be excited (which i am) about our future as a family together!? it would make me happy for my son growing up thinking the my boyfriend is his father... my boyfriend is resecptable, and will b out of phamacy school in september!? i'm a nurse he will be able to help me to provide for my son.. or should i be saying "our" son!?
