Well Victoria you can once again tell your sister that you are very afraid for the lifestyle that she has chosen and do not like her using marijuana. But you also have to realize that she is 27 years old and as such is capable of making her own decisions, whether you agree with them or not. I think it is marvelous that you care so much for your sister and are worried about her pot use, and it doesn't sound like you have or plan on using it yourself which in itself is very good. But I am not condoning the use of this illegal substance but it is a lot less dangerous than your sister drinking to excess etc. Be strong and be brave and let your sister know that you are growing up and that you are there for her if she ever decides to stop using and that you will do whatever you can in your willpower to help her with it. I am sure that your older sister is very proud of you and how much you are concerned for her.

She's 27, an adult, she's gonna do what she wants. I think when she takes a fall, which she will in some way or another, be there to help pick up the pieces, and hopefully she'll change her mind about smoking pot. And tell her how you feel again.

Marijuana is not physically addictive and in California is legally used as medicine. It's not like she's some strung out dope fiend and it's not that bad.Telling on her will just make her hide it from you and make her upset with you. Tell her you don't like what she's doing and it upsets you because of all the misinformation that has been fed to you about people using it. If it's illegal where you live tell her your'e worried about her getting busted. If that doesn't work tell her you can't hang out with her if she does that ,and follow through with what you said.

try to keep in regular contact with her..but dont keep bugging to stop it. Instead make her feel ur love and let her turn into ur love so that she can really do when u say some thing good for...this can take time but its worth.. you cant stop some habits as quickly as u think..all the best

You need to have an intervention. Everyone in the family and her friends need to confront her and tell her how unhappy they are and how worried they are about her health and future. You are a very good person to want to help her.

Maybe you should tell her about the people that you know who did drugs and all the problems they had. And also how it hurts her financially, there is nothing worse then being completly broke and maybe ending up on the street.

depends...how is her smoking affecting her lifestyle? is she going broke over it? getting into trouble with the law? losing her job?
Marijuana should be treated with the same respect as alcohol (in my view anyway)
being she is over 18, she's an adult. and any trouble she gets into...is her own to deal with.
she knows you don't like her doing it. you already made that clear. after that...you have done your duty.

did you tell her what it can can do to her or dose she already know? Or act like your taking a certain drug and she might ask you whats wrong with you and you can say "I'm taking ..."and
"I feel really bad" she might think about it and stop "with you".

All you can do is express to her how you feel and let it go at that. She is an adult, she has the right to do as she pleases. Sorry.
