Why are human so....?
it happenz this way...i live with my uncle n aunt..whenever i talk about something my uncle starts arguing n gives out his opnion on whatever i say and we keep arguing until it turns out to be he insults me or i say something that he gets upset abt it...its really upseting me now...i want to have some advise how to get away frm this kind of situation or to know why is my uncle reacting this way Thanku

i talk about general stuff..like what happen in uni today what did i hear ...about news n all that..n i dont talk to him ..i refer to talk to my aunt but he pokes his nose inside n start giving his opinon..and he tells me that you think you are over smart

We all go through, sweetie. It maybe an aunt, uncle or parent but the thing you have to do is let them know how their reaction to certain situations makes you feel. I also find it soothing to do exercises, write poetry or dance to get away from whatever is bothering me. Try and find something you can sort of get lost in that will relieve your stress.

Ok. I hope i help. Don't know if this is similar but my dad complains about every single thing i do. I find that when i argue back, it just makes things worse. He yells, I yell, He yells louder, I yell louder, he yells even louder n so on. I started trying to jus stay quiet when he says something. The other day he asked me something... i just said " i dont know" quietly, he asked again, and I said "I dont know" again, and he had nothing else to say. sometimes i just agree with him but don't actually do what he says, or just stay quiet and pretend I feel bad. I still argue back sometimes because I just can't help it. Again..it always makes matters worse. Hope its a similar situation with you.

you are all youngsters so let me give you some advise from an old fart....i remember when i was going throught adolescence nothing my dad said was right.....in hindsite in his eyes he was totally right...it is all about personal values and the diffrence between being young and old...thats all...if you can accept that he was brought up in a different era then you may understand why he is the way he is....its natural to argue so just accept it..dosent mean they love you any less

if you have to live there , be cool and stay away from your uncle and talk with your Aunt when he is gone . Don't give him the opportunity to butt in your business..

Your uncle feels like no one listens to him. Try to avoid talking about sensitive subjects around him. If he butts into your conversation, try to remain diplomatic. Don't talk about your true feelings. Just try to let him know you understand his opinion even if you don't agree with him.

Well if that's true and you aren't making it sound one sided, then I advise you to slap him. Or if you want to be more civil tell him it's pissing you off to this extent and he might stop?
