well one day he grabs his son by the throat hurts him so the two little ones decided they didnt want to see their dad anymore .yes i reported the incident to the doctors ,school counsler and women in crisis i should have called the police and children and youth .

my mom does not understand why i was so depressed after my bf and i broke up he was my fist bf and everything else but i also became pregnant and was for 5 months. She was suspicious and took me to the doctor because i was gaining weight but by then i was already miscarrying. So i told her it had just been a scare. I had one other scare in january from what she thinks but the blood test i took was too early and the doctor told me to come back in two weeks i did not tell my mom that. I did go back on my own 3 weeks later and i was pregnant. I was so depressed i stopped eating very much and all i wanted to do was sleep after my bf broke up with me. We got back together a month and half later secretly because after that suposed scare my parents hated him. But the relationship was really bad lots of stress and fights took place. My bf and i broke up again and i miscarried shortly after. I hid all this from my parents .

He's threatened to tell his Parents. I really dont care that much but I'm employed by them as a fashion guru. They look to me for style advice and the money is good. Do I retract my statement? The boy is 14 by the way and likes reading Harry Potter. Dont know if that helps.

last Thurday we decided not to meet for once and I decided to go with my mother for only half an hour or a little more to a public garden. However when I told my bf that I was out with mum at the garden, he got angry and told me that he expected me to stay at home. We had a great fight about it and I don't know whether I should go back to him or not as he already did it before (for example, I went only one to the beach with my mum this summer as he was really angry that I went so I didn't go anymore with her)

Can you give me some advice please?

I watched a show one day. It was about teens addicted to sex, most of whom have become parents. The age group was from 13-18. Scary, right? Some of them weren’t even old enough to drive yet, and they have a child. A girl said “Before the show, we all were talking. We found out that we all have one thing in common….our parents didn’t give us the talk, and when they did, they just skimmed the service about it. Our experiences with parenthood at a young age taught us everything we need to know”. Why are some parents afraid to talk about sex? I don’t know. You see it on music videos, movies and it’s almost in all of our music. I was ridiculed for teaching my 20 year old son about sex at 9 years of age. My Mother, rest her soul said “He don’t need to know about that now. You shouldn’t teach him that”. I said “I’m gonna teach him before the streets teach him”. So, I would like the most honest answer that you can give me on this question. Should parents talk about sex more than they do now, if they do it at all, with their children? If so, what’s the right age?

My mother-in-law (76 years old) needs $270 a month from each of her 3 children to be able to stay in her house. This is putting a big strain on my relationship with my husband since we are just making it financially ourselves. We have a 10 year old child. We already don't go on vacations and we are both driving cars that are nearly 10 years old with over 100,000 miles so it's inevitable that we will be needing new or used cars. We've done without a lot to be able to have a house of our own and I'm not materialistic at all. My husband's sister's husband told my husband that he's open to having my mother-in-law live with them (they live about 1 1/2 hours away from where she lives now) and they would make an apt. in their house for my mother-in-law with, I assume, some of the money she gets from selling her house. My husband's brother however feels strongly that we should let my mother-in-law stay in her house and that we should all just support her financially.

Im 17 and my mother pressures me to be more like my cousins. One day we came from getting my report card and theworst grade I had on my report card was a 'B' but my mother continued to go on about how my cousin would never let her grade slip. Recently I put on some weight and my mother constantly tells me that im fat and that no man would want to be with me because im not skinny like my cousin. I feel sometimes like she wants me to be just like my cousin. everything is always a competition. Why is that im not allowed to just be me?

OK, y mother hates my new life. She has never once had anything positive to say about any of it. My husband and I bought our first house last winter when I was 19, she had nothing good to say about that. I have college work I am doing from home, nothing incuraging about that at all. She only has negative things to say about my husband, and she is always looking for ways to get me to go back "home". Were she lives now never felt like my home, and when I talked to her a few days ago, I told her I was happy with where I am and that it felt like a home for the first time in my life ( I moved around a lot as a child.). All she had to say about that was, Your only happy because your with your husband. you would be happy anywere with him huh? And said it with the worst tone she has ever used. She only has good things to say about my older sister. She is 22, living at home with two children, and none of them have their fatheres around. They can't even find out who the father is for the secondV

My sister and her husband do NOT want my family of 5 to move in the subdivision that they live in. She said she hates me and that our family is forever divided. She said that we have ruined their lives. We searched 50-60 houses and we kept coming back to this particular house. It is just perfect for our family. Every one of our children can finally have their own room and it has an inground pool. We did not choose this house to p$#@ her off, we chose it because we think its a great choice for OUR family and #1 reason for our kids! I will always love her, but its now been 3 1/2 weeks since she has spoken to me. I am hurting real bad inside but feel that I have to do this for my family. Everyone I talk to says that shes jealous...if thats the case, she needs to focus on her own life choices, NOT MINE and where I am in my life. I wish I could understand. Any suggestions?!
