Talk to your dad. This isn't something you want to do behind his back. He may not agree with you, but if you are mature and open about it, he will probably respect your decision and likly has more information that could be useful to you.

Do you have any idea the area she COULD be in at the moment. I tried to trace some of my family and put an advert in the South Wales Echo. The same day I had a responce. Try that.

You can possibly trace her from adress to adress. Maybe some of the old neighbours (or people who moved in after her) know where she has gone and you may be lucky to trace her down.
If that doesn't work you can try with the municiple government. If you can prove that you are her natural child, they might help you.

You can write a letter to her and take it to social security office - they can forward it to her then its up to her just tell them you have her old name if you can get her maiden name off your birth certificate that would help- they know where everyone is at.

Just start asking around. Your dad must know where she was born, if she ever had a police record, and try zabasearch.com
