my father turned his back on me as a child because of his wife she couldnt not accept the fact that he had kids and all this woman has never taking the time to get to me or anything my father has six grandkids he couldnt tell u one thing about them and to top that off just this year i found out i had a sister thats 24 i have never meet before and my father knew about her and all and she lived right in the same city as me and all but we finally got to meet and it was a blessing to have found her but its a shame that it took this man that brought us into the world to separate us like that it was not fair to us cause we have lost so much time and now we have to catch up and all i hurt so bad from this a tried to reach out to him he just shuts me out like i am nobody to him i am his daughter and i want to know why he put a woman before his own flesh and blood it scares me real bad and for real it hurt like hell

Okay here is the deal i've know my mother in law for 14yrs and she is 80yrs old... But i get the blame for everthing that goes on in our lives.. For example my husband graduated from school she didnt want to go out to dinner with everone after cause she felt she would have to pay.. So we made planes for another time to celebrate..My mom offered to take us out so we went.. The next day she called me and ask what we did and she got mad and said i planned this behind her back i never want to include her in nothing and she not doing anymore holidays or b-days for any of my familey ie being my huband and our children... Then she said we only come around for money and that she should just be feed to shark..Now im the only one out of 4 childern she has that does anything for her . so why does she blame me instead of my husband and this is only the tip of the iceberg ... Can anyone help tell me why? And i havent talked to her in a month since this should i?

ps...this is a hypothetical ( i am married with 2 kids :D ) so this "advice" isn't for me personally.

Like yesterday she said i was a nasty gurl and she said cuban gurls are like that so races! cause i had two towels that i only need one i use one for my hair and one for my body like that makes me nasty wat!! Also when i first moved in with my dad she didnt want me there she told my dad for me to go somewhere else. Let me explain this lady is columbian makes 6.15 an hour i make more than her and im 19 and she lives for free at my dad's house. She has plastic surgery from head to toe and she is like 10 years younger than my dad pretty much just with my dad for the money my dad has a small buisness and makes pretty good money. Im really sad cause im a really niice person i swear i dont bother at all and i never make a mess im very clean my mom tells me to kick her asss and fight her and other ppl tell me to tell her off wat do u think i should do?? Also i dont want to move out I want to fix this honestly i want her out. Thanx

Why can't most men can't cook in a kitchen but give them a grill and they will cook anything? Why is it most men don't know how to put a roll of toilet paper on the roll (if they get a roll out they put it on the sink or back of the toilet? My husband thinks I'm weird for brushing my teeth in the shower yet he pees in the shower. Yuck

I have a friend like much and would like to help. She's divorced, has a lovely 12 yo daughter that lives with her. Her husband lives w/ another woman and the problem is the girls likes a lot her dad's partner. This makes my friend mad. She says the girl behaves better when at her dads house. Sometimes she has to ground the girl, but when she does something wrong at her dad's house, his partner just says, Hun, this was not right, I'll explain why, and the girl listens and obeys. The girl spent the last Saturday at father's house and his partner took the girl went to a lingerie store to get her first bra. When she came back, her mom, almost had a nervous break down, threw a bad tantrum over her girl first bra: You betrayed me, you're a nasty daughter, cause of that ***** you deprived me of such important moment for a mom, etc She destroyed one of the bras and locked the girl in her room for the whole Sunday. The girl is feeling guilty, is depressed and wants to leave my friend.

i have tried taking them away,
to nicorette patches to trying to hypnotise them.(not so well i might add!) but they just say its so hard for them. i know and they know that they need will power but its just theyve been under so much stress lately i just dont know what to do.
i should add that they have tried to stop smoking but its quite hard watching them go through pain like that. i dont blame them because i love them i just want to kill the bloody ciggerettes. please suggest ideas on how to stop them smoking. dont ***** them off because i know many people like them who cant stop the drug.

I just got married and my husband has a 8 year old son. Last year I was diagnosed with endometriosis and had an ovary removed. Now that we are married we are trying to conceive regardless of what the doctor said. I want to have a child of my own so bad. I get upset often because my husband has his son and I feel like an outsider a lot because they be in their own little world and leave me by myself. And, it's hard to spend the whole day with my step son and then see how his face lights up and how happy he gets when his dad walks in the door. I want to have that. So, until I conceive a child of my own, how do I deal with this situation?

hey, i need to know this... i am leaving in a few hours to go to a different state, i am leaving my hometown since birth (18 years).. i am terrified, but i have always wanted to do this... i told my mom last night, which i know it was short notice, but still. i am telling my friends today..
i am afraid i am making the wrong decision, b/c it also requires leaving my friends/family/church family...

if you were me, would you continue and go??? if i do go it will cause some financial trouble with my family... but i may also miss my dream if i stay... though it is not for sure if my dream is there... but i need to know something...

My dad is getting married this december and he is so excited... But it seems thou that me and my sister is having trouble to spend more time with our soon to be stepmom because she is always with our dad all the time and we barely see them only like midnight or near midnight. My real mom is having doubts about my soon to be step mom because she thinks after they have a new baby my dad wint pay any attention to me and my sisters. I can find the name, and then I get the usual ..with 24.99 you can now get the answers your looking for.
I dont have any credit cards to use and am trying to do our family tree. I have names but need to look up the parents of some of my relitives. I am always running into dead ins. My 15 year old moved to his out of state dad being a teen and all. I am sending weekly or by weekly care packages.
I have sent cards, pictures, chips, cookies etc, school supply, Tshirts. What would you suggest that doesn't cost a fortune or are overly huge, I don't want him to get bored with it.
