How do I locate a biological father?

I have tried to search for a man who is suppose to be my biological father for 10 years now. I am sick of spending lots of money and time and ending up nowhere. I need to know of a cheap and easy way. All I know is his name and where he lived in the 1970s. Does anyone have any Ideas?

here are some people locator sites. Follow through with the names. Take information you get from one, (CITY for example), and use it in a free White pages search.

Also, check the LDS family search site to see if he passed away, that is always possible (sorry for that thought).

Also, if I had his name it would be easier to help.

You could always look his name up on google, and find out where he lives, but you have to know his whole name.

I suggest the public library , hospital library where he supposedly was born, his relatives , church where he may have once attended if so. look up his sir name and maybe link it to relatives that may know of his where abouts.license bureau, try social security board etc. .

The more important questions is - Why do you want too? He was simply a sperm donor. If he did not help raise you then he is NOT your father but merely a man who came. So ask why you are looking for him.
