My 15 year old moved to his out of state dad being a teen and all. I am sending weekly or by weekly care packages.
I have sent cards, pictures, chips, cookies etc, school supply, Tshirts. What would you suggest that doesn't cost a fortune or are overly huge, I don't want him to get bored with it.
Thanks!!

If he has a gameboy, or other video game system.
Go to one of those stores that sells them half price, or trades them. A place like Game Stop, anyway, get him some games.
Send him videos that you know he likes or cd's that you know he is into.
And all teenagers need batteries for all those games, toys, ipods, whatever.
Change it up and once in awhile put a gift card in there to his favorite store.

Does he like ball caps? Send him a new cap.

Lots of love and that can be shown by simple gestures like a small slip in the package saying how much you love him and how much you miss him , its the small gestures that go a long way

His favorite snacks and other "favorites" that only his mother would know of. Love notes are a plus. Boys won't admit it, but they love the gushy stuff from Mom.

Music, videos, magazines. Gift certificates or small amounts of cash for "running" money. But, if you are trying to buy his love you are going about it all wrong.
