all my life they put me down and make me feel worthless.they are in their 70's,ive been very forgiving up to 3 years ago.they will even be manipulators and lie,,but they call them selves christian,i havent talked to them in 2 years and i have stayed sober with out AA..recently i found out i have breast cancer,,and they want back in my life..but i told them mabey after i totally recover,cuz i need to hang around only positive people and not negative people...so WAS I WRONG?? AM I STILL CARRING A RESENTMENT?

Mine is this: My family is seated at the kitchen table and my older brother is feeding me.He's pretending that the spoon is an airplane and "flying" the food into my mouth.I'm delighted with this game,and laughing. I must have been less than two-years-old,but I remember it as if it were yesterday.

my parents are pretty strict. growing up i dont feel i exprienced enough. my parents try to keep me dependant on them. and they depend on me also to take care of my brother. my mom also tries to live life through me. she thinks i'm just like her. but the truth is i'm not. im gonna be 19 and i still dont drive. i still dont have a job. and having a boyfriend is tough in my situation. in addition to all this i do everything to please my parents so it's hard for me to tell them i just want to live my life. how do i tell them to let go and let me grow up?

Okay, well tomorrow I'm going to the eye doctor to start training for my contacts. You know, how to put them on and off, etc. For one thing, I just switched eye doctor, so I still don't feel comfortable with him. And well, this is a big step in my life, because I have worn glasses in since the fourth grade (now im in the 11th grade)...so its really important for me...I just..I guess what I'm worried is I wont do it correctly or that maybe there will be awkward moment with my doctor. I don't know....I just hope this contact thing is easy on me. I wanna learn quick and get to the point where I'm used to them.
If you have worn or wear glasses or contacts....any advice?

How can I better sibling relationship? Me and my brother have fought alot in the past couple of years. My mother recently passed which showed me that family is the main thing I have. I know that me and him both should've realizied this before her death. However, it took her death 2 make me realize that me and my brother should have a better rekationship. He puts me down when we argue. Which hurts me and causes me 2 say mean things in retaliation. What can I do to show him that I do love him because he is my brother. He pushes me away when I try to build a relationship.I don't expect an overnight success. It's just that when I do try, he pushes me away.
