My first memory was my first holiday abroad in Spain at the age of two in Salou. I remember being in my pushchair at dusk going past a bowling alley, which was housed in a replica log cabin. I remember the paths not actually being concrete but sand and stones.

What a lovely story. I would love mine to be as sweet however it goes like this. I remember pretending to be making tea under the coffee table for my mum and my auntie and as I finished and made my way out from under the table I banged my nose (I can still remember how loud the bang was!) apparently I was 3. I have a broken nose as a result but have became rather fond of my nose which I thought would never happen!

I have a baby memory too. A crib type of thing. I had crapped my pants and was crying. I heard my mom coming down the hall. She came in. She baby-talked about changing me. Though, unknown to me I wasn't speaking english, I enjoined, saying that I wanted a diaper instead of a "pampers." I knew distinctly that the "huggies" with the different shape were "diapers" and "pampers" were scratchy and came in a taller package. The word 'pampers" freaked me out. There was a moment of anxiety as she changed me. These diapers were new, if I remember--and weren't of a brand I recognized. They were also of a word I didn't understand, but I felt ok--they didn't itch. I was okay and she was happy that I wasn't yelping anymore.
I had freaked out because I wanted a specific type of diaper!

My first memory is when I was about two, and I had to be hospitalized for an extremely high fever. I remember the doctors and nurses pricking my feet with needles... and then, my doctor bringing me a cup of Kool-Aid. I can remember sitting up on the bed in my hospital room and drinking it.

I remember being about 18mths-2yrs and being on holiday somewhere and my mum thinking that I wanted a donkey ride, putting me on the donkey and me being absolutely terrified,
I can remember to this day exactly how I felt, I thought the saddle was tipping to the side and I was clinging on for my life, balling my eyes out.
My mum soon realised i didnt really wanna be on it.

Being 56, I forget..but I know I didn't remember things before age 5..I think it was being in kindergarten and getting sick and vomiting and the teacher having me wait in my slip while she called my mom to come and get me. I was embarrassed.
My son, on the other hand, (he has a brilliant IQ (167) and was always far ahead of children his age sometimes by years claims he can remember being in utero before he was born. I don't know what to make of it.
I know he remembers breastfeeding, but I nursed him well into toddler years.

I remember when I was about 5 years old at Christmas my dad offered me a piece of turkey. The prongs of the fork were poking through it and I thought they looked like teeth! I refused, and he said, ''C'mon, it won't bite you.''
Of course, this only confirmed my suspiscions that the turkey actually DID have teeth, and wouldn't touch it for years after!
