My friend is dying and I dont know what I'm going to do when it does happen... How do you handle something like that?

I've told you all about this before but this time I have a question, but first let me explain the situation again. I do not allow my girls to go over to this girls house NOT ONLY BECAUSE HER HOUSE IS FILTHY so continue to read on...but also because her Mom is a known alcoholic, her Grandparents have each tried to commit suicide and also live on the same grounds, the girls Mom allows a 21 yr old boy to come over and "visit" with this 10 year old girl! The house has atleast 6-8 dogs and numerous of cats. When you open the door, I gasp because of the odor. I've decided I can not allow my girls to go there. I will however allow the little girl at my house any day, any time. My problem is this. How do I explain this to my girls? What do I tell this other little girl when she asks 'why can't my girls go to her house and play?' and what do I tell her Mother when she asks? And I know she's going to ask sooner or later..

Well based on my own experiances in life..I have seen ppl who are truely and deeply devoted to God getting punished the most and the ones that do all the bad deeds get away with everything and lead a happier life!

Why is that?....doesnt that make God a sadist?

she has no stability in her life. in the past 4 years she has lived in two different appartments and the same guy will keep taking her into his home then break up with her. i'm so sick of this i and my wife and I are the ones that suffer when this goes on. she seems to be a moocher in my opinion. i need help. she is making no attempts to find a job. she threw a hint last night that she would be ok by christmas. i cannot wait that long. when i tell my wife how upset i am she gets upset with me. help

I have already got a great offer on a rented room and i donoe why what is pulling me back u see (please see my Q & A about my problemS) i really cant agree with dad anymore i always wanted to go out. now i have a good offer for arrangement suddenly i cant bear to move away from them and feel scared? why is that so ? i mean i really cant stand my dad anymore .. he's really pissing me and being sacastic and all.i really cannot take it. its like
when i was keeping quiet doing my own business he would purposely provoke me to get a reaction. i know sometimes i have a short temper and i have been controlling but its really brining me down.

this will be my 1st time leaving the house. as i have said to myself once i leave i will not turn back and i even told my mom one i step out i got nothing to do with anyone else. am i being evil?.

how cnai stop yelling at my boyfriend and family ,it don't matter what they do the least little thing that they do will set me off . my boyfriend has been very honest with me about everything that he does but he has an ex that keeps trying to come back in the picture ,but he has told her to move on ,but she is very consistant . She willnot stop a.i have told him that he needs to get a court order do she will leave him alone he is afraid that will mae her more consistant . I have twin 16 month old boys who are absolutely adorable (ok... i know...). That said, I've got one who I feel needs a time out every now and then. I don't want to give a time out if he developmentally can't understand it yet - seems to defeat the purpose... but he understands when I say no and redirect him, so I'm thinking he might understand if I give him a time out, it means that I find his behavior unacceptable. Is this realistic?

my mom and dad are arguing. Normally, they argue and they are okay. But this time, they don't want to sleep in the same room. Neither one wants to give in. my dad has'nt ate for one day. they didn't talk at all today. Im sad and frightened. my mom is crying all the way in her room. and my dad been sleeping on the couch from just now. what should i do?

My sister in law is always harping on my family, pointing out our faults. She is always ordering us around--Close the door!! Get me this!! She is always telling us how to live our lives, yet if we point out any of her faults, she gets upset and sends my brother over to tell us back off and she is entitled to her opinion.

I came over the other night to babysit my niece so that she and my brother could go on a "date." Their house was a mess--I cleaned up the toys and put them away and even helped my niece clean up her room. When they came home, she saw I had cleaned up. She looks in the kitchen and has the audacity to say "Well, you could have put the dishes in the dishwasher." I was so upset, I couldn't even say anything.

My family keeps on saying "That's just how she is." I believe that behaviors continue only if they are allowed. My mother has asked me not to say anything in the name of family peace but I really think she is going too far. How should I handle this?

OK my mother in law told me she's trying to plan a trip out here for Thanksgiving, which is fine she only gets to see her grand kids once a year, but last time she was here she showed up unannounced with a knock on the door saying "surprise" I was not prepared for it at all, the house was a mess( My daughter just got done playing). So she's staying with us at that time and she is cleaning everything even pulls out the stove and fridge all she does is talk about how we need a bigger place, like we don't know that we have been trying to work on it but credits not so good. She also gives all this advise that we already know and are doing. How do I coupe with all of it and not hurt her feeling if I say anything, she's really noisey and thinks she can fix everything by telling us how to raise the kids how to deal with money and what we need to do in every day life.

I have a family member that isn't taking care of her daughter, if the state were to put the children in foster care, would they be willing to let me keep one of the three children if I am single and working full-time? I know I could give the child the love and nourishment she needs, but I would be afraid of splitting the sisters up and there is no way I could not work to support us. Does the state help out if you foster a child? I am not dating anyone, nor am I married, so it would only be me taking care of her.

One of my good friends as acted different around me lately. Last year she would talk to me, steal my hat on occasion put her arm over me every once in a while. Then I come back to school and she rests her arm on my knee, steals my hat and wears it for as long as she can. Gave me a new necklace when my old one broke. I put my hand on her shoulder and she flat out hugged me. Once, I had a small hole in my shirt and she starts ripping it wider. Doodes on my notebook. But my diemma is that she does hug some other of her friends but not nearly what ive been getting. Constantly smiles.

The thing is thatis she just being more deeply friendly or does she like me

My 5 yr old son just started karate. At the end of the class the sensai lets the kid that did the best punch him in the stomach. My son won and got to do this. After class was over my son wanted another punch and jokingly hit the sesai. The sensai reemed my son about respect ect.. It was painful to watch as he was repremending my son. He's a pretty intimdating man and he went at my son for long few minuets. My son held back his tears but was really upset all the way home. Now he wants to quit karate. He's embarrased and feels dumb. What he did was wrong...but should I force him to continue? Shouldn't it be fun? And, the kid is 5!!!! How would you handle this one?

He is 26 and losing his girlfreind and 3 yr old daughter due to drug abuse. He is a drug addict, I'm not sure what all he is addicted to, but enough to ruin his life with them. I don't know what to do to get him help? I can't make him do anything, Please does anyone have any constructive answers for me. I'm afraid I'm going to lose him to an overdose?

My son is 12 years old and in the 7th grade...Hes been getting detention in class for not doing homework...the other day i saw the like blood marks across the back of his neck. me and 3 others witnessed these marks...we aked what they was he said hes been itching. Tonight a parent called me..due to her son and my son are best friends. She told me these 2 black kids...has been walking up behind my son..smacking him very hard in the back of the neck.--its leavin blood-hickey streaks...when he went to the office MY SON got into trouble and dismissed on the black boys hitting him...this has been going on for weeks. The assistant prinicpal is all about the rich kids...if your not a rich kid then she doesnt give a shiit. Last year we had issues with her...she lied to me and my mothers face...then had the audacity to call us liars.
Tomorrow i am going in school...pressing charges...and getting answers...
I just need some advice...this hurts my heart..that my son is getting hurt at school!
