Well based on my own experiances in life..I have seen ppl who are truely and deeply devoted to God getting punished the most and the ones that do all the bad deeds get away with everything and lead a happier life!

Why is that?....doesnt that make God a sadist?

God Says: If you never know pain, then how would you know im a healer? If you never make mistakes, how would you know im forgiving? If you never were in trouble, how would you know i would come to your rescue? If you never had a trial, how would you know you're an overcomer? If i gave you all things, how would you ever learn to appreciate them? If you were never broken, then how would you know i can make you whole? If you never had any suffering, then how would you ever know what Jesus went through? If you never felt sadness, then how would you know im a comforter? If you never had a problem, how would you know that i can solve them? If i never corrected you, how would you know that i love you? If your life was perfect, what would you ever need God for?

Life is a short test, to get us through this life, to learn things, and if you prove worthy, we can live with him in Paradise forever! HE LOVES YOU!!

First and formost you should not ever question god. He has a plan for all of us, he said in the bible that we could shorten or lengthen our days meaning that it was basically your free will to live the way you wonted be it right or wrong. You said that youve seen god take people that were devoted if thats the case then you shouldnt worry cause they are gone on to live with the lord and in a better place than you are pal. You know its been said that god takes his angels home first. Remember that when you are walking along the beach to look back and see the footprints in the sand. Those are gods footprints my friend, because he is carrying you. When waves are over your head they are under his feet.

A God cannot be all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-good (omnipotent, omniscient, and omnibenvolent) given what we see in our world. It is self-contradictory. I would suggest that you accept that God lacks at least one of these traits.

Perhaps, for example, God doesn't care about every last person. Assuming he's the Christian God, then, for example, maybe he, you know, doesn't really care to monitor every moment of everyone's actions. Maybe he figures that sending his only son down to die for everyone's sins was good enough. Maybe he thinks suffering builds character. Maybe he thinks the world is more interesting with suffering built into it. Maybe, just maybe, he's forgotten about the world. Like, stuffed it in his toy chest or something and playing with building another universe.

Or maybe, like you say, he's a sadist. Or doesn't exist. Or has the Godlike equivalent of Alzheimer's. Or maybe he really is as good as you'd like him to be, but not really all-powerful, but just really, really powerful, so he can't help everyone. Maybe, what the prophets really meant is that God is just more powerful than any man can ever be, knows more than any man could ever know, and embodies Good more than any man ever could, and they just kind of shorthanded that when explaining it to people.

Any of these are plausible. If you think about it, you can think of more reasons. Just be aware that you've moved away from standard tenets which do in fact say he is all powerful, all loving, and all knowing. Not that there's anything wrong with that. If nobody ever disagreed with what their religion said, all the Christians would be Catholic still. Heck, they'd never exist in the first place, they'd all be Jewish.

Faith isn't about the details, it's about your belief and relationship with God (again, assuming you're Christian).

edit: For all the really shallow answers out there, remember that God created the world and since he is all-knowing he knew exactly what would happen to everyone when he created the world and if he wanted, he could have created a world where noone suffered, ever, and where everyone was good. He did not. So yes, all the suffering is his fault, and he knew about it, and approved. The question then, is why?

just as there is God, there is also his stray and gone bad adversary, satan. Very importantly is the fact that satan can't beat or harm God, which brings us to the issue of God's right to rule. When satan fooled Eve and Adam, he raised the issue that man would serve God due to his blessings and caretaking of all humans. Since then, satan has only one objective: to lead all of God's followers away from him and to get them to sin and lose all position of approval to God's eyes. He doesn't care for the evildoers and stray, he wants those who try to follow the Word in the form of the Bible and of course immitate the steps of our savior Jesus Christ. So while the good are suffering and getting the short end of the stick, of course the stray are enjoying life and seem like nothing can go wrong for them, they have nothing more to loose, they don't have God's approval so there are no worries there. Be assured, though, this will end and sooner than people think or expect. Although there is no specific date, the signs are all here and society is rotting away with every day that goes by. Know and remember that Jesus was hated by mankind for following God's word and as such, we will be hated the same for following in his footsteps. God doesn't want it to be this way. Since the beginning, he wanted the earth to be a paradise and for us to be governed by him, however, he has been given time for the issue of his right to rule to be resolved and finally prove to all that he is the "ONLY MIGHTY TRUE GOD". satan's day is close and he knows it so expect for things to get worse as the final day get's near.

Every action has reaction. Whatever u do in ur past life, definately it will come back to u. Meaning that if u harm any people, and then the same thing will ever happen to u.

God will never harm us. He's the creator, destroyer.

The truly devoted people are being tested by god, he knows they will be in heaven after they pass on, the bad deeds go to hell when they are done here on earth.....

GOD doesn't punish us... people do. God lets bad things happens as a test. Life on this earth is amerely a test of faith. The reason people in horrible situations have the strength to go on.. is because they arent preoccupied with this wordly life... they are more concerned with--and more MOTIVATED by--the next life. Remember, GOD is our ultimate goal. No matter how many successes, how much wealth, or how many children we have on thie earth... it means nothing when we are standing before GOD. Nothing impresses him but FAITH and DEVOTION. :)

God doesn't punish us--where did you get that? Read the Word, man. Life has problems, that's just it is, but the Lord will help you through all of them if you'll depend on Him.
