By discipline I mean any sort of punishment, not just physical. Do you think there is in increase of parents who do not discipline? If so, why do you think that is? How is it affecting the children?

WE REUNITED THROUGH LETTERS AFTER our GRANDPA PASSED AWAY SEP 14TH ,2005 AND OCT 2005 WE GAINED BEING IN TOUCH THEN THIS YEAR COUSIN HASNT BEEN IN TOUCH I SENT HER A BIRTHDAY CARD FROM YOUR FAMILY ON AUG 17TH ,2006 BUT STILL NO ANSWER BACK?

i am 16 and i wet the bed due to stress, i have talked to a doctor and he says that i am fine, other than that i olny get about 4 hours of sleep a night, i am in high school and college (dual enrolment), i am involved with 6 diffrent clubs, and am very active in my church. i also have a job. i need to know if there are better ways to deal with this than diapers. my parents say that i can try something else, but i have to find a way frist. i will be put in a diaper soon if i dont get some good ideas.

oh and i am a boy.

i haven't seen my dad in 19 years. the last time we spoke was 9 years ago. we were on the phone and i got mad at him because he was getting married and i guess the woman he was marrying wouldn't let him come and see us or maybe he just didn't want to. i don't know. my brother has never met him ( he was a baby when our parents devorced) i want to talk to him.

his name is Jesse Davin? Pierson
last i knew he was in Canton, Ohio but i'm not sure if he is still there.
i think he is 44 or 45 years old

if anyone knows him, knows where he is and maybe can tell him i'm looking for him?

Maybe popular is the wrong word. I worry sometimes that while I try to teach my son to be compassionate, well mannered and social I wonder if his peers will not be able to relate to him. Have any of you out there, for any reason worried that your son/daughter wouldn't/doesn't have any friends? Any advice regarding this matter, first hand or otherwise would be appreciated.
Older girls love him (over 12ish), younger girls (2-5) and adults find him charming but he is having a difficult time forming friendships with boys his own age (4ish).

hi i just got back from babysitting
the house got broken into while i was outside with the kids...so i was on the same property. the house i babysat for has guns in their house (cause the husband likes to hunt) and they think theyve gone missing. imagine if i walked in to get something like a diaper or a sippie cup or something and by then he had found the gun and was armed with the bullets that were stored beside to gun?? its possible but lucky i didnt go in or even if i had to go to the bathroom. when i came back all the drawers from every dresser and cabinet and jewelry box were across every floor in every room.. clothes were scattered and things had been taken. The movie we had watched before going in the pool was gone seeing as the dvd played was stolen. dont worry i called the parents and we called police and everyone else. but isnt that scary? i just need comforting cause its still the night of and just thinking of what could have happened is rattling me. help :(

Ok, here's my situation:

My dad won't help me move out until I can keep a job past the probationary period (I just got fired from one recently). However, my brother and I have been living together for almost 3 years now and are both at the point of almost physical confrontration when we argue (we are literally yelling at each other in close proximity to one another). We both want me to move out, but my dad won't help me move out until I can keep a job (which is part of my problem having a mentall illness).

I am working with a job coach to rectify the situation and find a lasting job, but my brother and I constantly fight and it is not a healthy situation.

I feel stuck between a rock and a hard place and both my brother and my father are unsympathetic to my problems and present situation (only my mother is).

How is this situation resolved without argument and what is the berst way to resolve it (my family frequently attacks me verbally, and vice versa). It is a dysfunctional family

My 40 year old stepdaughter has been living with us for about 5 years now and to say the least it has been an experience.She is very bossy and nags me constantly in fact,I call her my 2nd wife!! What the problem is she has this facination about my sex life.She is constantly accusing me of masturbating or going to porno sites.She is always snooping around trying to catch me doing something or going thru the history on the cput to see what sites I visited.She constantly tells her Mother that I am after her body, which is certainly not true, and her mom knows this.She is a very attractive woman,has never been married or even had a serious relationship.She does not want kids says men are pigs and finds fault with just about everyone including her family.She came home from NYC after 9/11.She was a very successful rock band manager and her clients were big hitters.Now she seems to be content to live in the guest house with her 10 cats and run my life.Tell me what would you do?

Is it normal for stay at home moms feel like they are "missing out on something" in the world, by not having a career?

I am 27 years old.I have a bachelors degree, and I would like to obtain my masters.

Financially,my family does not need me to work .I love being at home with my children, but i often long for a career. However, at times I feel like this may be a case of me thinking "the grass is greener on the other side."

1 of my friend is having some family problem with her kids. 1 is 21 years old and 1 is 16 years old. They are creating problems and used to go in and out of jail. Now the 16 years old is either have to send to Boy's Home or ??? She is divorced with her husband and her ex husband is not taking care of this problem. Anyone know where she can go for expert advise or concelling for free. P/S : This is a serious issue. No joke please. Thank you in advance.

HI I am 19 almost 20 and my husband is 21 almost 22 and we want to become foster parents. most of the sites I have been looking at says you have to be 21. Does anyone know if it is aceptable for only one of the parents to be 21 and the other to be a bit younger? Does anyone have any experiance? or any website for me please help!!! I only found out i had one when i was 9 and she came to live with us for a few months then she left and i havent seen or heard from her since.Now after my mum kicked me out and we no longer speak or anything(thank god for that) i find out from my brother that she has been in contact with her, i ractically had to force her to give me an address, but she is like 19 or something now and what am i suppose to do, hi remember me, yeahs so hows life, mines ****.What if she doesnt wanna know me or remember me and i have no idea what lies my mum has told her about me, but i dunno she is my half sis and i dont have anyone, but what could i possibly say, or should i not bother?

I have a 3 kids, a almost 4 year old daughter, 2 year old son, and 1 10 month old. The 10 month old is not a problem, it is the other two. my daughter hardly evers listens to me. when she does not want to do something she tells me "i dont want you", "go away" "I want you to leave". Its really starting to get on me nerves. Now my son is really mean he hits and chokes and what ever else he can do to the other. Im at my wits end on what to do. I just want a nice calm family.

My childern want to earn money by doing chores, and I`ve decided to make a chore chart for them. I mean a chart with like Monday, Tuesday, exc. on the top, and then with the chore on the side. Kind of like a graph.

My husband and I have an age difference of 23 years, but that does not bother either of us. He had been divorced for 10 years before we got together and has 2 sons. The oldest son we just moved closer to because of problems with the other one. He is 30 years old and just got around to telling me that he has not liked me from day one. He has no reason, just says I am not one of his favorite people. I can understand that but what I don't understand is letting me think all these years we were a family and them all of a sudden tell me this. I have two kids both of which love my husband to death, they have had their share of problems, but I think that comes with step families. I know I should probably say to h... with it but I am the kind of person who has a hard time knowing someone doesn't like me, especially when they can't tell me why. I guess what I want to know is what you would do in my situation? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How Do You Tell Your Cousin...?
How do you tell your cousin that she is less than pleasent company. She invites herself places with me and my friends, and she's a little pushy and insecure. She can't really take critisism (spell check isn't working), and she gets offended easy. But she invites herself places, and she's too much of a handful for me to enjoy myself. We are grown women, I'm 22 and she is 23, but I feel like such a child always lying about where I'm going so she won't try to tag along. HELP!!

hey i told my mom 2 months ago about a sleepover a camp leaders having and its tomrrow friday 25th and she said i don't know and its only 39 minutes there and we drove 6 hrs without sleep and we still weren't tierd we drove 16 hrs to chicago once well 3 times! isn't that unfair i think i won't go she said cause she gets home from work and tierd? is it unfair? help!
