NO.....It is not unfair. Give mom a break. Next time put it on the calender and reminder her more than 1 day ahead. To you it's 39 minutes, to her it's at least an hour and 18 minutes two times, one to take you and come home. One to pick you up and return home. Any chance of a carpool to the sleepover?

No it's not unfair. give your mom a break. You twerp. Don't you know your mom has got a life of her own. her job is not to pander to your needs. Why don't cha do something nice for a change instead of whining like a brat on the net.

You won't get there saying it's unfair. Walk around the block fast 3 times and get cooled down, and see if your mother will talk when you are more calm, but you must keep calm, or it won't work. Parents are human, too.

that is really unfair. sometimes parents forget these things, which is really suckish. if it's only 39 minutes away, then she should have enough energy to drive a car for an hour.

just remember that your mom has to drive back home after she drops you off. but do remind her that she had gave her word that you could go. but you need to think about your mother as well. is there another family member that might be able to drive you there if you pay for gas?

Your whining would make me tired too. Cool your jets. I'd lock you out of the house and you could sleep in the back yard.
