i really dont get what the pirate thing is suposed to mean, but if you think that your son hates you, or your not sure, ask him. if he says he is mad at you, then tell him why, and fix the poblem. like if you always ignore him, then dont, or if you never listen, then listen for a change, or if he wants to be alone, leave him alone! do what he says, but dont do everything, if he gets mad that your not doing everything he says, then say its for your own good. the best thing to do is this, so take the advice, trust me, i know what its like, im a teenager, too.
