My best friend just broke up with his girlfriend and I knew he liked me. I asked him what he saw in me and he said he really liked me but there was his girlfriend back home. He ended up breaking up with her. I asked him if he could ever see us dating and he said he'd love to date me but wanted to wait until after Christmas break is over and we go back to college so he could clear his mind. Well, I ended up asking him out yesterday and he wasn't sure what to say all he kept saying was "umm" "uhh" and then he said "I guess sure?" then today...he wrote me a letter and this is what it said.....

PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IT MEANS!!!!

I am in a long distance relationship, and we have been bf and gf for few weeks now. He calls me almost everyday. The thing is he keeps saying he wants me to go there and visit him, but the only problem is that my parents don't let me go. I tried talking with my mam, and to let me go for couple of days but it didnt work. So I have told him that they dont let me go, and he didnt really say much about it. I do want to se him and everything, but I just don't know if I could do it sence my parents don't let me. He is 22..and I am 19. I just don't know what to tell my parents..they will think am crazy. All I want to do is visit him..and thats all, not move in with him, or ran away from home. What should I do..help me?give me some advice please.
The only thing is I am not sure if I trust him, because he did kiss a girl once when he was really drunk in a bar.
Also we have never really hang out as bf and gf before.
Also he dosent call me when he says he would, he just goes out and drinks

Yet, I know that we decent guys are simply everywhere. Throw a dart out the window and chances are you'll hit one of us. Are these women just full of it? Where would a decent guy, like me fr instance, go to meet one of these women who are supposedly seeking a decent guy? Are these women for real? Is there somewhere I don't know of, where these women hang out waiting for a decent guy to walk through the door? Or, as I suspect, are these women just full of it in one way or another?

I was pregnant 3 years ago and due to complications we had to remain abstinant till after baby was born. So for the past two years we have been ok for a sex life. We are both 30 years old However it has slowley gotten worse. Since May i can count on my fingers the anount of times we have been intament. i feel like i am a horrible disgusting person that he must not want me. When i bring it up he tells me to stop begging. He comes up with new excuses every night. I have tried to talk to him and he tells me he doesnt see what the problem is as far as he is concerned there isn't one.He takes medication for his back but has for many years with out this problem. I asked him to speak to his doctor and he got mad and said there was no reason to. He said that it is normal. I have tried everything i can think of i don't know what to do. The rest of our relationship seems fine to me. I just cry myself to sleep tyring to figure out what is wroung. I would really like some good advice. Thank you

How many have learned the hard way that you need to take it slow, get to know someone first before investing in them emotionally?

We broke up one week ago, her decision. She wants to be friends. says that we can be friends, start from the beginning, and take things slow. She doesn't want to see me right now bc she says i still have feelings and only when i can be her friend we can see each other..

We started out our relationship really fast from the get go, three weeks of knowing each other and have been dating. for 2 months, until last week.

It is so hard to see her as a friend than a gf.
She says she wants to be single, have fun with her friends..

She has been hanging out with her guy friends and will take vacations with them this holiday. She wont even spend Christmas with me, instead it will be with someone else whom she calls a friend, an the unknown gender, due to information, when i spoke with her three days ago. My girlfriend and I have been dating for over a year now, we're both 17. She loves me and I love her and we both know that. Our relationship has had many ups and downs like any relationship has, but we've gotten through it. I would do anything for her and I do, to the point when her friends and my friends have both said that she takes advantage of me. We've talked about her giving me more respect and lately it's been great. I think that it's time now to have sex, and i've told her this, but I would never pressure her into anything. She's said she wanted to and promised she would, but whenever she says she will, she ends up not. I don't know why, and i've talked to her and not received a concrete response. The farthest we've gone is her giving me a handjob, and she will not do anymore than that. I'm frustrated more by the broken promises that the actual lack of action (though that bothers me too) what should I do? I do everything for her.

for some reason i want the song for the first dance in my wedding to be I Thought We Had by The Family Stand. the song is really good but its about breaking up, and there's absolutely nothing positive with a slight hope of a better future between the couple in it. in fact it pretty much confirms that theyre ending the relationship for good. still id really really want it to be the song at my wedding. odd?

btw, im not planning on getting married any time soon.plus i cant see myself married to anyone i personally know right now.

I am college student living at home. My sister has physical abused me my whole life. I know that is has mental issues, but she is like a switch she can go from perfectly fine to crazy in a minute. For 19 years i have been her punching bag. She tends to act out when no one is around. When i was little i would to cry to my parents for them not to go out and leave me with my sister. My sister has pinned me up against walls, threating me with knifes. My grandmother once had to ripe away a knife from her hand that she had up against my thoart. I have been kicked down the stairs so many times i lost count. It took my mother to finally see what she is when she saw it first hand and my mothers broke her leg. This was the first fight after 19 years that i fought bak but it only made her want to attack harder. My parents have let her bak into the the house....should i attempt for a restaining order? i fear that only a matter of time before she attacks me again

I feel like that I'm not being honest to my boyfriend right now! first, I haven't gotten over my crush (For 4 years) yet, second, 3 guys like me and I like them as friends, and third, I haven't gotten over my ex either! So I recently asked a question about why younger girls tend to go for older guys and most of the answers were "girls mature faster than guys so they go for older guys."

Understandable, but then does that mean that girls are attracted to maturity? With all of the girls that go for "players" and "bad boys," people obviously just out there for sex and not a mature relationship, it doesn't seem like girls are attracted to maturity....

But then again, I don't know a ton about girls, so I could be very wrong. But let me know what you think!

this is for my sister she needs advice

i was in a relationship with someone who showed a lot of signs of sincerity and caring in the midst of all this is ex fiance of a year and half ago contacts him through email saying she was sorry for what she did and she still has feelings for him. meanwhile this girl really did him wrong so he had mixed feelings for her which ended our relationship. my question is when we had broken up we had a talk and i told him that i didnt want him to contact me unless he was110% sure he wanted to be with me. so after about 3 and half weeks i get a text message " would it be okay if i gave you a christmas gift"? so what i wrote back was " if that is something you feel you would like to do you shouldnt have to ask me" and his response was "okay".

that was about a week ago and he doesnt call or keep up any form of comunication that was it. for me that was a very strange situation what do you guys think?
