hey im in foster care and i really miss my family and i get out in 1 year im 17 now and my bday is in dec but it is really hard what can i do to calm me down?

I've been having some issues with boyfriend and it's really trivial stuff. He says I don't care about making him happy because when we're on webcam he wants me to do sexual stuff, and I don't mind to a certain extent. I get bored with it and get tired of doing it and some stuff I just don't feel comfortable doing. Well for the past week or so, we've been getting into an argument every night and he says I don't care about him being happy and sarcastically he says we'll just focus on me and all I care about is my happiness and I'm not willing to bend for him, which isn't true. I told him I could make him happy in other ways besides that. I sent him a very long IM me today (he had signed off and went to work), I basically told him I can make him happy in ways as such as just being there for him, talking to him on the phone, talking in general, and other things that haven't came to my mind yet. How can I drill it into his head that he can be happy with me and not need sexual things daily?

she marries your friend...then he beats you and throws you out and your mom takes her husbands side. wtf ? i'm the stepmom here and my stepdaughter is crushed her mom did this...the mom is 40 something the husband is 25 and the daughter is 17. i just don't know but i'm ready to go kick her moms azz. any thoughts ?

I don't have a lot of friends, and my fiance and I are planning our wedding, but we came to a brick in the road, and was wondering how to get around it. I want to have bridemaids at our wedding, but I don't have a lot of close enough friends to make the maids of honor or bridesmaids. So, I was wondering what do I do? On the weekend, I went to visit my sister and meet the guy she is seriously involved with. She had mentioned to me that he was a person of color and also an actor in movies. Of course I googled him and yes, his bio was there along with some handsome pictures of him. My sister is very fair with very long blond hair and quite beautiful inside and out. When he arrived, I was surprised that he was very, very dark which did not show in his pictures which is why I was surprised. I hid my surprise and soon found out that he is witty, charming and a truly caring and loving person, at which time his color just went out of my mind. Now I am home and I am wondering if, because of my initial shock, I am prejudiced against black people. I have never been around black people much as I live on Vancouver Island where you seldom see black people. I really hope I am not prejudiced, but I am troubled about my reaction. Comments, please.

i'm 16 and have 18 and 22 yo sibs. my dad's sister has 3 boys ages 16, 14, and 10. her husband wants to have the "married" title, but doesn't want to act like it and take care of her and the boys (not to mention the verbal and physical abuse he put those kids through). tonight she told us that she will never be seen with him again. i'm scared. i had a distant friend who's parents were divorced, but never had i known someone personally, much less related to me, who had one. i'm scared for my cousins, because they look up to their dad so much. and they want to be just like him. the oldest wants to be a mechanic and is going to a tech school for it, the middle one wants to be a chef, and the youngest can sing, act, and dance. he has his eyes set on Broadway. if the boys had a choice, they would choose their dad, but he justs brings them down, i've heard him tell them they'll never accomplish anything.

this week has been rough, and i usually try and stay positive but this time i just cant seem to shake this. i found out the guy i liked was using me until the girl he really wanted came back from another country. then i found out that my ex only told me that he cared and missed me b/c of problems he was having w/ his current gf (they're fine now, so he doesnt speak to me). i also got fired from my job, where i was making decent money, right before the holidays. then to top it all off, the aforementioned guys work at the place that i am now currently employed full time. my heart is being torn up and my bff told me that i "deserved it" because i let myself fall for these men. (meanwhile, she's engaged to the first guy she ever really dated). i hate playing the sympathy card, b/c i know there are so many worse things in the world. but i just cant seem to pull myself out of this pain. any useful advice please?

My girlfriend of 2 years and I broke up 3 months ago, mainly to get space, but knowing we would get back together. A week after this she wanted to get back, and i did too, but i said we should take some more time to fix what we needed to. she was upset and said she wanted me back. 2 days later she went to see her ex , and after this, she didn't want to get back, saying she needed to be single. over the course of the next month i begged for her back, sent her flowers, did everything i could. she was different, told me she didn't love me and to move on. we were at the same party one night, and i decided to try to move on, so i talked to other girls. one girl was on my arm flirting, and my ex flipped out, screaming at me and calling me an asshole. later she came to my apartment to see if i was sleeping with her (which i wasn't). after this she wanted to hang out again and so we did. the next 2 weeks went well until she told me she had slept with her ex 2 weeks before.

My parents arent together anymore and i always spend christmas with my dad then i come up the day after. I always end up feeling guilty because im not with my mom, my step dad, and my two siblings who are little. My husband and I were married in NY in 1997. I thought we were happily married until last Feb. he came to me and told me he no longer wanted to be married. After a huge mess - I found out that he has been messing around with a close friend of ours.

He moved out of our home in April and let it go to foreclosure. I have been a stay at home mom for 8 years and trying to get on my own 2 feet now.

I just recently (within a couple of weeks) got a place to live for my children and I.

We have both gotten lawyers and have been going through the visitation/child support/alimony thing....which is almost settled.

I have talked to my lawyer about this and it seems like she just keeps putting it off. I want this divorce - I want to file now but Im not sure how to go about doing it. Where do I go? Also, due to me being a stay at home mom for 8 years, funds are really low while I get my feet on the ground - is there something out there that will help me?

Seriously, I have been wanting a girlfriend since I was 14 and so far I have not even been close to going out on a date with a girl or having a girlfriend, why do people always say "you haven't met the right one", or "there is someone special out there for everyone", I don't care if my first girlfriend is the right one!!!!, I don't want my first girlfriend to become my wife! Seriously!, it is so frustrating and depressing that I have been single my whole life, while there are tons of people out there younger than me that have had tons of dating experience, and I don't consider myself lucky for never having a girlfriend, I don't wanna hear you people saying that "I saved myself from all the drama and stress from the results of a relationship", well guess what!?!, I wanna experience that stuff, besides, it's part of growing up, no relationship or marriage is perfect, thats why people break up and get divorced. Seriously, am I the only one who is 20 and has never had a girlfriend?

He's very critical and a dictator. If something goes wrong, its always everyone elses fault never his. For instance today in the car the windshield wippers got stuck and he started yelling at my mom saying if she didn't talk so much this wouldn't have happened. He makes a big fuss over nothing. He keeps calling me chunky and makes me feel like I'm obese which I don't think I am !(5'7 and 140 lbs). He is driving me to some very emotional problems, and even making me hate men. What should I do? I can't move out because I'm too young, have no money, and no where to go.

Okay I am like so fed up with this. Okay I have a myspace account rite? And I like to go on my schools homepage sometimes and you know post into the topics from time to time. Well there's this little girl on there I ain't gone say her name but her and her sister is always goin on there startin $#!+ with me. I mean I say nothing to them never even said 2 words to them when we were at the same school she never said half the things she says on there to my face. She's always saying things like I'm a loser and I need to get a life but yet and still she's the one getting on and off the internet starting bullcrap. When I say things back to her her sister get's all up in it. Then she had the audacity to tell me that I was lying about being pregnant both of them. I live in NYC
We Travel at least twice a year
I have health

I get and do what I want
I play with my kids all the time, take them to baseball and play Wii and just have fun...

I'm in my 30's and will do charity when I'm a litle older.....

Why is it that I don't feel satisfied?? I've been with my wife for 10 years, and we love eachother...

I use the word "infatuated" because only time will tell if it's actually "love". -- I'm playing with fire I know, and my family, friends and probably any stranger would say to just leave it alone. But when you're really, really... really interested in someone, you just can't move on to somebody. This man is literally my "perfect man", from his looks, to his profession, to his personality, even the sound of his voice is perfection to me. Not only am I playing with fire because he's married and older, but because he's in law enforcement, with a rather high rank too.
What do I do? This kind of thing (which I've never felt before) doesn't just go away...
Any advice?
