i find it interesting that you didn't include job/career in your list. perhaps you aren't doing something that you are truly passionate about. might be a good place to start looking.

Lots of good answers on your question already...I think you are almost onto the right idea when you mention you will do some charity later - but I think "later" should be now. Do for others and that will lift you up! Involve your kids, too. Let them choose some clothes and toys they no longer want or use, or take them with you to choose some new items to give away and explain to them why. Or when you take a vacation, maybe go on a trip to a 3rd world country and take note of what is needed there and what you might be able to do to help. I'm not saying you have to change the world yourself; just allow yourself to be open to what you could personally do for just one other person. It's nice to be in the position you're in, where you're comfortable. But now you need something more. Giving can really be an uplifting experience. Or on a completely different note, how about trying something that you never have before, but you maybe always wanted to try since you were a kid? Hang gliding? Deep-sea fishing trip? Eco-trip to New Zealand? Help build a house for Habitat for Humanity? Learn about a different religion? Let your imagination go nuts. Hope this helps. I think the answer is there inside you...

Couple of thoughts...

Is this your dream or other's expectations? Think hard and answer honestly cause this could be your issue.

You have achieved a lot, now focus more on enjoying the journey --- especially with your family --- this is can take you to another level of fulfillment.

You don't mention spirituality --- investigating this may be something that also helps you find further enjoyment and satisfaction in the adventure of life.

Good luck!

I agree with Pretty.
Sounds like you have an ideal life, and everything everybody dreams of !

Perhaps you need some "me" time so you can discover or re-kindle a close relationship with God. He is the only source of true joy and peace, after all. All the material things come and go; but if you are close to God you don't need all the other things.

Maybe you haven't found your true life calling. Try a new hobby with your family. You sound like you have it way better than allot of people i know, including me. My husband and I live with my mom and I consider my self lucky. When i start feeling down about it i think of all the people that are living on the street or starving kids and know i am truly blessed.

You really have had some good answers here. I agree that you might want to take a look at your spiritual life as well as get involved with charitable work. I help a lot at my children's school, and volunteer with my church. It is very satisfying to be able to help people. If that doesn't make you feel satisfied, I would seek counseling to get to why you aren't content.

"Life is not in the abundance of things that we possess".

We are spiritual creatures in a human body and we long for the real purpose in life... The only thing that will fill your void is God.

Try reading Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren and it'll give you some idea of what I'm talking about...

God Bless! :)

Maybe you have too much and it came too easily. Sometimes we don't appreciate what we have if there was no struggle to get it, or we don't appreciate how wonderful our life is because we have no adversity to compare it to. I hope you never find out how great your life is now, because you are looking back and wishing it had remained the same.

Sounds like you might suffer from some type of depression. Or maybe these these are not very fulfilling. Have you tried volunteering your time somewhere?
