No one under 14 years old should really visit anyone at the hospital. Only exception is if someone may die and then it may be appropriate to take them for a visit.

If he will be out of the hospital in a day, then no.
my daughter is 5 and she don't like doctors at all. My husband was in the hospital after he hurt his back at work and she asked me if daddy was going to die! Kids at that age worry about their parents and are fearful for them. It is better to let them visit dad recovering at his home in familiar surroundings than in the hospital. That way is less scary for them. Take care.

I do not know where you are located. In the United States, it is late evening, so it may not be practical.
If he stays longer than a day, you may consider it. It is difficult to tell how they will react, since they are not the ones seeing the doctor. They could be happy to see their dad and be reassured. It could be overwhelming. If they were a couple of years older, I would be more positive about it.

I wouldn't...hospitals are scary and it would be really hard for them to see their dad looking "sick". I would call him, and talk it over with him. Let him know that you want the kids to see him and for him to see the kids but maybe it would be better if they visit once he's home. He'll probably agree. It will be far less scary for them, especially with how young they are

Take them to see him when he gets out. They are a little young and I think seeing him in a hospital will upset them.

If they are his children they by all means take them briefly, let them see the type of work doctors do, besides give out shots LOL.

I think you should tell them that their dad is in the hospital but will be out soon.
Perhaps they could see him when he's out of the hospital.
(Hospitals are full of viruses and things kids shouldn't be exposed to, IMO.)

I would call and ask him if he wants the kids to come up. I think that sometimes it's a relief to have something else to think about.

No. They're too little for that. And it may be too stressful on the patient. Wait till he's out and at home, and feeling up to it.
