So I recently asked a question about why younger girls tend to go for older guys and most of the answers were "girls mature faster than guys so they go for older guys."
Understandable, but then does that mean that girls are attracted to maturity? With all of the girls that go for "players" and "bad boys," people obviously just out there for sex and not a mature relationship, it doesn't seem like girls are attracted to maturity....
But then again, I don't know a ton about girls, so I could be very wrong. But let me know what you think!

your right about that.
but for girls who do like older guys not for sexual reason it's because i find that older guys understand more how to treat me, the right thing to say when i'm emotionally hurt.
to me a lot of younger guys i dated are more into making out getting in my pant and i find them so aggressive. older guys are just more of a gentlemen. well a course not all of them and a course not all younger guys are like what i said but the majority of older guys i dated are like that

Well girls perhaps more than just maturing faster physically, they also mature emotionally more quickly than guys too, so an older man tends to be more experienced with the emotional side of a relationship, whereas younger guys...can only, because of their hormones...concentrate on the sexual side of a relationship....and do not grasp at their stage the dynamics of emotinal awareness...Older men are usually more confident and know how to conduct themselves, and have an understanding of how the interaction bewteeen males and females work together socially and personally.However not all girls are attracted to older men, its a package deal....its physical attraction, emotional fulfillment and social security...with bad boys for girls it tends to be more of a sexual thrill, and girls often find out guys are players when its to late...when they have fallen in love with them...

I think that girls go for older guys because of what u said in your last post, yes they are flattered that an older guy wants to date them, and sh*t like that. and also about your last post, i do believe that younger girls would give it out to older guys faster then a guy their own age, because ive seen 3 or 4 girls do it when i went to school. Last but not least, its not about maturity at all, its about wanting to have an older guy

Dating older men and bad boys are not mutually exclusive. Some girls like older men, some like bad boys, and some like both.
I don't think it is that girls necessarily mature faster than guys. I think many girls are looking for someone to take care of them, either emotionally or financially (or both), and older men are in a better position, generally speaking, to take care of those needs, since they are better established.
As for the "bad boy" syndrome, I think that some women like the thrill and challenge of taming someone--"He was wild until I came along." No one likes anything that comes too easy, and that goes for men and women. Some girls are also addicted to the drama.
Personally, I like older men, but I don't like bad boys. I like someone who treats me well and with respect.

the girls that are truly attracted to "bad boys" and only go for that stereotype, they cant expect more than sex or hooking up. but girls that want a relationship go for the more mature type that may not be as experimental, for lack of a better word.

well ''ll speak for myself i like mature guys because they have something going for them usually they are very articulate, they joke around yes but their life is headed in a positive direction. As for the bad boys and players some guys are just attracted to it because they may be bored or of low-self esteem because their father may not have been around or because they may think that they won't ever have anyone better. who knows.

Yeah girls do like maturity, but for some reason that I don't even understand, we think we can take a bad boy and turn him into what we want. However, not all girls are like that. So, don't get pesimistic.

well not all girls like the bad boy some girls really do just like a guy for their mind not attitude or body i dont like the bad boy and about your sis she might just like older guys there could be no reason

Bad boys suck they have a big ego but I always thought I had it in me to change one bad boy to good that would give the world a little hope that hope is not lost
