While I was out of town, my husband went to his parents for dinner. We see them all the time (uhg). Since I was gone, his mom and sister started questioning him on all our recent personal decisions in our lives. They grilled the poor man.

We have had a rough year, but we have a plan, we have faith, and I know things are getting better. Maybe to outsiders it seems that we haven't made progress, but this is about us.

My mother in law says that when we are unhappy, it affects the entire family. **What do you say to that? It is not her business.

Supposedly "I" am the one causing my husband to be unhappy? By the way, we have a great marriage and we make decisions together, my husband just doesnt talk a lot to them. I have tried telling them things, and THEY JUST DON'T LISTEN!!!

I am really hurt be many things they said. I am back in town now. *Do I bring this up to them? *Or just stay quiet the next time I see them so they feel guilty?

or is there any impact on what they say about someone you find attractive such as your gf or wife? Especially if negative or they don't agree? And would they change your mind or view?
For example take celebrities tom cruise and katey holmes. tom cruise is considered drop dead gorgeous and is married to someone whom he may think is beautiful where other may say he can do better than that and did as he dated supermodel penelope cruise and his current wife is not supermodel material. just an examplef description showing relevance to the questions.

we have this unlimited texting in the philippines, and i send 600 messages a day, quotes to friends, sweet nothings, and i actually got to know a lot of people through texting, mostly men and they have been rather used to me texting them and getting to know them and vice versa , and now i feel that i dont really intend to meet them in person, and that i would be unfair to continue any sort of friendship, i can only maintain the topic through text and when they demand that we meet each other, i just feel the need to stay away from texting all together and just go back to my life of reading books, anyway i dont think people or men are sincere in texting so i just do it for fun , and now its no longer funny, so they are not real friends anyway, its just like in chatting, so i would just give up texting right, good idea?

Ok, so there is this boy I really like and he is a good friend of mine. Anyways, lately he's been really flirty around me (he is always flirty with me but this time it seems like more then usual) So, he has been sitting next to me like ALL the time in school and if I am ever sitting on a bench he sits next to me but he sits REAL close. He presses his leg up against mine and sometimes puts his arm around me.

One of my friends (who's a guy) said he might just be a flirt in general. But he isn't like this with other girls and doesn't have a girlfriend or anything)

What I want to know is: what does the leg and sitting close thing mean?

Why is it that when people do me wrong I have no remorse whatsoever in shutting them out, disowning them, and never talking to them again??? (Family & Best Friend)

Why is it that I dont feel sad about it anymore?

Is it because I realize that I dont NEED them in my life, or that I dont WANT them?

This is what has been bothering me. There was some drama in my family, and I told the people I was close with to not pick and choose sides because no matter what, they will lose someone on one side. Both my aunts picked sides, and I couldnt.
The thing is that everyone did not like my mom, and me and her are two peas in a pod, we come in the pair... You lose her, and you lose me... Just like the old saying, dont nobody talk about my momma' but me...

And now the people think that they are still cool with me even after they disrespect me and my mother?

Am I wrong in adopting the Forget and Move On policy? Instead of the Forgive and Forget policy...

Help please.

Best answer gets 10 points.

My fiance is enlisting into the air force. He has always wanted to be in the military. And I finally gave in as a good oppurtunity for he and I to start our life together, with all the benifits the military offers &we can finally "make it on our own" &"grow up" without having all the major struggles with rent payment, bills, etc. I know I can always come home when he is deployed and I feel I am ready to take the responsibility to handle all this pressure, and I feel I am ready to grow up.

But, I have alot of people telling me that we are "too young". My mother and father want to push me out into the world and learn how to make it on my own, yet when I make an effort to do so, they have so many reasons not to.

I really just want any opinons what so ever you can give. Whether youve been in my situation or not. Just input please!

I went to a friends house this week and my friends introduced me to this very cute girl. I got to talking with her and she was a great person and very smart and funny. After the night was over my friends told me that this girl wanted me to ask her out. Shortly after that my friend told me she was 18 years old. I am like 8 years older than this girl. Is it wrong for me to go out with her? Is it weird because she is just getting out of High School? The funny thing is she didn't even talk about being in school still. Plus I have only been going out with women my own age my entire life. Will it be weird to date a young lady?

Alright well, there's a guy in my martial arts class and we get along pretty well i.e. we always greet each other, we talk about our day and stuff we're doing on the weekend, etc. Well last night, our instructor said to get a partner since we'd be sparring. The guy comes over and he grabs my arm and pulls me out onto the floor once I've got my gear on and says,"You're mine!" Ehh, well, we fought and of course, me being only a yellow belt, he won. We both laughed when we stopped sparring and he gave me a hug. Well, he and I aren't like really that close, but he just came over and gave me an actual hug, not like a tiny half-hug! What does this mean? I sooo confused! BTW, he's 16, I'm 14...don't know if that helps but whatever LOL. And yes, I admit, when I first met him a year ago, I did think he was kinda cute. I wouldn't mind expanding the relationship, yet how do I show him that? And if any of you peeps say "flirt with him!" could you maybe explain how? 'Cause IDK how to really flirt!

Hi All,
Marriage is one of the major events in someone’s life. It can be either love marriage or arrange marriage. There have been lots of discussions on both of these. But the other one marriage within relations (e.g. marrying with Mama's daughter) is very little discussed.

Please share your views, pros and cons of marriage within relations.

COVERT INCEST is when the parent uses their child as a serrogate spouse. There is no sex involved, but they treat their kid as if they are married.

Has anyone else ever experianced this in one way or another?

My brothers are very stubborn and consistently make very bad decisions. Earlier this week they snuck out of the house at 1:00 to go to a party hosted by some high school dropout friends of theirs. There was drinking but they said they didn't do anything. Then they walked over to a gas station nearby at 2:30. There had been a shooting right before then in the area. My parents finally got there (I was at college at the time) and picked them up.

My brothers refuse to think things through. They are fascinated by drug culture and one of them strongly considered doing something really strong (I don't remember what). They don't listen to me (older brother) or their parents or their grandmother (who they love and respect). The only people they listen to are their stupid friends, who are getting them into this stuff. In fact, they have the nerve to be MAD at my parents, who only took away phone priveleges and the right to take walks (they were too relieved to be mad). What can we do???

I'm shy & girls take that as being "stuck up" What 2 do? I'm "older" so NOT looking 4 underage!!! I am in my 50's so I will let the ladies decide the correct age for them. To me (for those legally of age) age is just a number, but don't read between the lines as there are none there to read between. Any girl/lady over 18 can help out, but NO UNDER AGE for chatting, meeting, etc. I am looking to get over that hurdle of dating and being friends, then we will see from there. So those kind of plans are for ADULTS
Thanks

I'm on a "break" with my boy friend because after dating him for a month he stoped wanting to hangout with me, he wouldnt do anything for me, just come to see me once a week for an hour or so.. Whenever I told him that I wanted him to want to have more of a relationship with me he would say that he would do anything to make it work with me but he has not changed one bit so after 8 months of this I broke up with him when I got really sick and he stuck by me through the whole thing, but when I finally got better he stoped coming to see me again and never invited me over. Its almost been a year now sense our relationship begain :( I asked him why he didnt want to see me or treat me like when we first started dating and he said his heart isnt in it. but he says he loves me and he wont let me go. what should I do?

There was a girl that really liked me & i really liked her but it was about 1 year ago. We REALLY liked each other! Sadly I moved away, but have now come back. Do you think she could still like me?

Also if she has a bf, what would she think when she sees me again? Would she dump him? Like the girl does in the movie called the notebook?
