I'm shy & girls take that as being "stuck up" What 2 do? I'm "older" so NOT looking 4 underage!!! I am in my 50's so I will let the ladies decide the correct age for them. To me (for those legally of age) age is just a number, but don't read between the lines as there are none there to read between. Any girl/lady over 18 can help out, but NO UNDER AGE for chatting, meeting, etc. I am looking to get over that hurdle of dating and being friends, then we will see from there. So those kind of plans are for ADULTS

I have the same problem. People think I'm stuck up and snobby. Just smile more, and say hi when you catch someone looking at you. Good posture and a warm attitute could help also.

My guess is that is how girls view me as well.
Shyness is a personality trait. There is no way to get rid of it. It's the feeling of the lack of confidence. What you should do is try to build up that confidence. Do what you can to convince yourself that there's nothing to be afraid of. Talk to them like you would to your friend or to a coworker. You need to develop a basic relationship with them first before jumping into anything more.

have you ever been married or anything? but uhm, just put your slef out there. people used to think i was stuck up too, casue i can be shy at first, and i hated it. but i just stopped letting stupid stuff get to me, and got over being as shy as i was, and i met a lot more people. good luck with you =)
