Hi All,
Marriage is one of the major events in someone’s life. It can be either love marriage or arrange marriage. There have been lots of discussions on both of these. But the other one marriage within relations (e.g. marrying with Mama's daughter) is very little discussed.
Please share your views, pros and cons of marriage within relations.

I don't agree with it. Although the couple would probably have a lot of things in common a relationship also strives on the differences that two people bring into it. Another problem I see is their future offspring. It is a known fact that a baby from a brother/sister relationship has a significantly higher risk of a birth defect.

Great Success. As both the husband and wife knows their father in laws and mother in laws before hand, and therefore have better understanding.

Successful or not .....this is highly unethical and not acceptable in any society.I don't find any logic to support such a relationship and I am astonished to find that in modern society how can one think of anything like this.....strange indeed !!!

in indian culture its not valid. and if u marry with your mama's daughter may be u have to face many problemsin your family.

Personally I think that is just not proper....psychologically and physically...but some cultures still follow this tradition.

if any dispute entire family members come forward for counselling.; hereditary disease may follow to Ur children

you wil not have Mother-in-Law and Daughter-in-Law problems (usually) cause of friction in marriage life

You won't hear people talking about it because it doesn't happen that is called incest and inbreeding and is illegal, so it doesn't happen in civilised countries.
