i've seen a lot of questions from women about abusive bf and husbands. i'm not trying to be a smart***, i just don't understand. why do you stay with men that treat you bad? my answer to these women is that if your man is calling you names or hurting you, or is mean when he drinks, or is disrespectful then he doesn't really love you, no matter what he says the next day. and if he does than who wants that kind of love. i don't get it? they ask why does he do this- well its because he is an @$$hole. give me some insight why do they stay?

I am so mad because I know someone has been pretending to be someone and they are supposed to be not like that and they like being deceptive and sneaky and not even get the whole picture before they decide to do this. I am so sick of it. Does anyone have any advice for me? I am so mad because me and this person are close and I can't say anything. I love her to death but she decideds to try to be sneaky and I can't take it. It's not sneakyness in real life too. It's throught the internet.

im 12 and i have brown hair and natural blonde highlights it ends right bout at the top of my boobs...im white but i hav a good tan im 4'11 and weigh around 104 pounds i have greenish brown eyes(more green) im a pear shape...my hips make up for what a lack near the top and i seriously do hav like bumps on my arms from muscles(cheerleader) i hav short legs and small feet but a long waist and i look rele skinny from the side...so plz be honest and tel the truth!!

I don't need opinions on whether you can claim abstinence even if you've already had sex. I already have my view on that. What I need to know is about the relationships between people.
It is known and proven that couples who wait until they're married have a more successful relationship, and those that don't wait until they're married have a higher divorce rate. Now here's my question:
If someone's in highschool and they have sex with their partner (long term, not just some silly 1 month relationship) for about 9 months, and then decide to claim abstinence until they're married, do they still have the high divorce rate? Or will the long period of abstinence until they're married help, even if they had sex before?

Sorry if this question is confusing, if you need any clearing up, ask and I'll add details.

My husband of 25 years looks at porn on the net and tries to hide it from me. he only does it when I am not home or am sleeping. He usually erases the history but sometimes like today he left it all on there for me to find.
I have asked him why and to please not do it but he won't stop.
It makes me feel like he is looking for someone other than me.
It makes me not want to have sex with him at all.
We have been together all this time (25 years) and I have never been with anyone else. I love him but this "addiction" makes me sick.

The reason I only had a couple of boyfriends (all my other friends had like 84573895 already) is because I'm dreadfully picky. Oh, his nose is too big. Oh, he's not cute enough. Oh, he's not funny enough. Oh, he's not my type at all. Oh, he's not social enough. Oh, he's too nerdy. And on and on and on. I never actually say that to the guy, and I don't think of them as a lesser person (I would probably be friends with them anyway) but I still find something wrong with every boy I see. well there's this guy at my school. we are 8th graders. hes pretty popular. i'm inbetween. me and him have a few classes together. and we did cross country and r doing track. he always tells me how good i am at cross country. then in track i'm better at him in some things and he's better than me but he still compliments me. we always joke around and talk alot. and he teases me alot. we say hi to each other in the halls. is he just a friendly person or do u think he likes me? something i notice alot like when i talk to guys from other cc teams he asked why r u talking to them they're from the other team. i just know those guys i talk to from various places. and also u know how popular people guys/ girls always give hugs to each other. but they aren't actually going out. do guys usually start hugging the girls or like how does that work.. should i start being the hugging type of person or is that a little to gushy?

Most marriage include a new style of living. You know you and your spouse are living together for the first time, starting a family, and probably decide to buy a new house together.

Ok i was with my boyfriend about an hour ago and we were just making out in the behide his house and he was giving these hickeys on my neck and i guess you could say dry humping then he asked when were we going to have sex? I would like a bit of advice on this topic. It sounds harsh to say, but I really think that my mother has some sort of psychological issue(s) that my sister and I (more heavily on me than on my sister) are target of.

I truly believe that my mother subconsciously tries to make my sister and I have low self-esteem in attempt to have us not be self-reliant.

For example: She does things like saying if we feel good about how we look, then we will get in a horrible car wreck and be disfigured; this will be God's way of "teaching us a lesson".

Or she is constantly thinking I am incapable of taking care of myself and telling me things like "I can't afford to pay your student loan payments". In reality, I haven't asked my parents to pay for ANYTHING since I turned 18. I put myself through college, paid for everything (rent, car, etc.), and never once requested any financial assistance from my parents.

Does your mate ever attack your ethnicity when you have heated arguments? My husband is Mexican and I am half black. I was raised in an all white middle class neighborhood with 2 very professional educated parents. I am strong-willed and can be very mouthy at times when I am pissed off. My husband associates my "attitude" with those of black women. (In a very negative way) He says racist comments (you people make me sick, etc), and he's even called me the "n" word on occasions during arguments when he has had a little too much to drink (4 times in 5 years). When he shows this racist part of himself it makes me hate him and want to divorce him. We don't have any children, and I won't get pregnant with a man that would have racist feelings about his own children. I grew up being called "n" word in school and have white family that disowned my father for marrying my mother. I'm disgusted by this behavior. What should I do?

My husband and I are separated, and he's filing for divorce tomorrow. We had already decided that we would do split custody, on a 4-day rotation, and on the amount of child support would be (he's being VERY generous there). We're trying to have as amicable a divorce as we possibly can, and until today, it seemed to be going well.

But I lost my job on the day of our consultation with the attorney. He's right now paying my rent and some other bills, but I will have about $150 to try to stretch until the beginning of the year, more than half of which will be gas money.

I've been job hunting, trying to find something, going on interviews, etc.

So he called me up and said he's going to take the boys until after I am able to get a job AND have paychecks coming in (probably looking at around four weeks, at the least.)

Keep in mind, it's been less than a week, and two of those days, I was home with my kids because they were sick.

Can he actually do this???

If you tell a girl your in love with her, and you mean it, and you pure your heart to her, and have nothing else you can say, and feel unhappiness when shes not around, and feel like your on top of the world when she is, and all she says back is she doesn't know. She says she cares for me, and doens't know if she like me as just a friend, or more. We used to date, and broke up cos of problems with her parents. theres so many.. Ok. Today I think I may have ended a friendship that I wish I hadn't. My friend Evan, is my best friend. I get sick of her ranting about how much she hates this other girl, Mallory that betrayed us a while back. I mean constantly saying "This anger building up inside me can't be good. I hate Mallory." She aslo blabs on and on about my boyfriend petting her and playing around. He does, but not how she explains. Then, when we get home from school, we ALWAYS call eachother. Well, lately, she has been saying stuff like call me back in 20 mins, I wanna go outside. (She hates outdoors.) Or my mom has to use the phone. When I call back, she's on the phone with my boyfriend! And they talk for hours. She never calls me back, and today I told her to stop it all or I won't talk to her that day. She did, so I didn't talk to her.
