Yes, teens wants too much freedom. They wants no restrictions on what they can do. At that age they think they know more than their parents and think they are stupid people.

Most kids start to want more independence in their teens. Also some of their friends will be more independent and then they will want that freedom also. But your parents are supposed to be helping you make the right choices and guiding you with their wisdom and experience until you are 18. So there is a tension there between your eagerness to make your own decisions - especially when you and your parents disagree on what the good or wise decision is! - and their desire to keep you safe and help you make better choices. So if you can listen to your parents and understand that ultimately, the decisions are theirs until you are 18, you will continue to get along. But some days it will be hard and you will be upset and they will seem unreasonable and untrusting of your judgment...and they had to go through the same feelings in their teens and they know you will get over it sooner or later and much later, you will probably even realize that they were right.

That would depend if you respect your parents. If you live in their house, and take their money, then you need to respect their judgment. The day you can do better is the day you hit the street and find out that life is really all about. You need to talk to your parents and have a good understanding with them, then you both will know the boundaries.

Generally speaking yes.... the more you exert your independence the more fights you tend to have... however this is a very good time to learn conflict resolution which helps in all relationships, family, friends, coworkers, lovers, etc.... learn to come to a resolution with your parents... don't expect to get everything you want, but ask them to give you earned freedoms as well... respect your parents and they will respect you back...

Who told you *all* teenagers fight with their parents? What is their name and how old are they? If you heard this from an adult, how mature do you think it is for you to accept excuses and suggestion from people that fighting for a negative cause with parents gets worse as you mature?
