Okay, maybe this is a dumb question but im just curious...
Say you have have kids but one day you decide that raising kids is too much for and you cant handle it anymore... Is your only option abandonment? FOR THE RECORD, I do not have kids and do not plan on doing anything like this EVER. I am just curious what an unfit mother's options are rather than beating them and having CPS come take the kids away.
Any answers are appreciated.

I have been dating a guy for almost 4 years. he proposed to me this Feb. I love him dearly. I have dated other guys so I am not worried about that whole missing out on dating thing, its that I am 20 years old and we are having a long engagement, but I am just wondering should I marry sooner, or later?

My ex broke up with me 4 months ago. She still calls me evry 2-3 weeks. She calls and says she misses me and our relationship, etc.She has been seeing someone else and she has told me more than once that she doesnt like him that much and that they dont have the same connection that we have.A month ago I stopped taking her calls and havent answered her texts.She saw me 2 weeks ago with another girl and she called me at work 2 days later and told me several things about how she misses me and how special I am and then she started crying and told me she wanted to see me, and that she is thinking of leaving the guy she is with, etc. She never acts on her statements, so I told her that I am moving on and that I think it would be best for her not to call me again EVER. When I said that she hung up on me.I do want to be with her but she tells me she misses me but doesnt ever come back to me.did I do the right thing? Why do girls like this play these games? What do y'all get out of it?

Frank and I have dated in the past, we were suppose to get married. We did the whole ring and hall shopping but stress got to me so i decided to break-up with him. He was devastated, couldn't leave his house for weeks. The reason I broke up with him was a little to do with not appreciating eachother. After seeing how upset he was after the break-up I realized how mush he really did care about me. We decided to give it another chance but a few months after that he decided it was not working. He cought me trying to chat with guys on-line. I was idiot. I made mistakes but he couldn't be with me anymore. After 2 months apart, he came back saying that he missed me. He wanted to see how things will go, if they will fall into place and we can try again. It's been a few months and he says he is still not ready to commit. He says we had it all planned out the first time around and look what happened. The matter is he still cannot define us as a couple. Should I see how it plays out? HELP!

last night my drunk b/f got drunk and pee pee in floor in front of toilet and then tor up my handle to towle rack thing then acted stupid like all drunks do then when i took him to work he walked out and called me to pick him up they never fire him cause he is a hard worker i think they should anyways we got into it in the front yard and when his boss called i told them he is right here and gave the phone to him boy did he get pissed then he started getting loud so i called my preacher momma and she talked to him and i told her i need to get rid of him before he drives me crazy and she agrees and then he passed out on coach which he is still there. my question is i was trying to wait tell after xmas to kick him out for i have no money for the kids presents but, i am so tired and sick of this life can i wait another month to do it? what should i do when i have no money and no way of getting money for the kids? am i just screwed or what..thanks for yout help and to top it off i am sick

I always fall for a guy & then he ends up falling for one of my friends... it's happened all the time since high school. I've been told i have a great personality, i'm heaps of fun, i'm quite pretty, guys love me as a friend & i'm great to hang out with. But for some reason I'm never the one they want to go out with. I'm not a tomboy, I'm not an annoying chiwowa girl (you know- yap yap yap but no substance). I have a decent full time job, i'm relatively intelligent (apart from the fact that i can't remember how to spell chiwowa). I have a great sense of humour (ego!). I'm easy going- no pressure- take life as it comes and live it kind of girl. I'm not desperate or focused on marriage or any of that stuff right now. I just would like to know why it's never me that gets "picked". is there something inherently wrong with me that i'm not aware of?

My friend just went through a rough breakup from a relationship of 5 years, plus they have a 3 year old child. He is a great father, friend and person.

Lately he has been going down to a strip joint and "hanging out" with a certain 19 yr old stripper who goes by the stage name of "Long-limbs-Lenora". I tell him she is just after his money and will say anything to keep him coming back, but my friend doesnt see it that way. He thinks she actually likes him and wants to bump uglies or sometin. She gives him lines like "Yea, im broke and stuck in a bad situation", asked him for his number, etc. My friend keeps going back and getting lap dances from her (3 nights in a row once) and he's hooked.

I dont want to burst his bubble, but I want to be a good friend. What should I do?

she says she loves me. we have lots of history over the past 2.5 years. her friends dont approve neither her family. she says it will take time to earn trust. when shes sure ill be true to her then shell tell her friends and family about me again. when things go bad and i suggest just calling it quits she wont let me. does she ever intend on a full commitment? I am ready and she knows this.

and tell me why would a guy spell hot instead of how after seeing the word breast on tv lol. what's going on. my husband was watching this show yesterday and i was sitting next to our desktop where he was typing how to get this thing downloaded on iphone i told him him to type that for me and he typed hot and quickly deleted. My guy friend means alot to me. When we were in 8th grade I had depression when I went on accutane. I was also suicidal and wanted to kill myself for no reason at all. He found out about a poem I wrote about the way I felt and he turned it in to out principal so he could stop me from killing myself. I got off the medecine. In ninth grade he asked me out 3 different times saying i mean alot to him. I wanted to go out with him but I knew it wouldnt work because I was really scared. Now im 16 and im starting to have feelings for him. I want to tell him how much he means to me but im scared he wont be my bf becuz I rejected him. What should I do?

My hubby and I broke up last month and I haven't called him or his family, etc............since. BUT he calls my mother from his friends house and his new cell phone number where he can easily block the numbers but he doesn't. The numbers he is calling from appear on my mom's caller ID without him *67. BTW, He calls my mom every other day. I ignore him completely. MEN: is my silence driving him crazy?????

Right, my mom is getting re-married to... the guy who she cheated on my dad with. This all happened so fast and she hardly knows the guy. She cheated in such a bad way he got beaten up. My ex-husband sent me an e-mail saying that I under no circumstances should think of moving into an apartment with my 15 year old daughter. We have been living on our own for a few months now and I was under the impression that my daughter told him.

We were living with my parents and it was getting uncomfortable and my mother asked me to move out.

I wonder now if I am accountable to my ex-husband because of our child or if I have to look to my own comfort and sanity also. I could have sacrificed my own happiness and lived with my parents, but it was getting difficult especially with my mother who is rude and cranky and cries easily for no reason.

I keep questioning myself and don't want to face the issue with my ex-husband and it makes me made that he thinks he can still tell me what to do just because our child is with me. Does that give him the right?

After I caught him, I dumped him and then he got back together with his ex. Told her he loved her.

So why does he still look at my private myspace page every night? Its been almost two months.... and he is still looking at it every single night.

If he is with her and cheated and lied with her, why even care about me?

Again, its private (i track who looks at my page), he has no access to the info... just my log on date and picture and quote.

Why would someone do that?

the other day my boyfriend was telling me how he ran into his ex who he never talks to anymore and how he thouht to himself "i really don't know how i ever went out with her, i really just do not like her".

so i was over at his apartment (which i don't go to much) and i noticed he has a lot of pictures of her around his room. he has pictures of the two of them together and some of just her. he doesn't even have a single picture of me anywhere. if he never talks to her and doesn't like her, why does he have pictures of her out???
and he asked me to get something out of drawer in his room and i found what looked like a poem about her.
do i have reason to be worried or am i just being ridiculous??

(And if you'd be willing to share one such experience) How many people do you think lie about themselves and their true situations back home, real home, not the one fabricated to fulfill perhaps, an acquaintance with another out in the world.
I would really appreciate any responses. Because there have been times when I have really been confused by way games of deviousness and deceit, are played to the contact, with whom some people correspond.
My attempt is to be straightforward and honest, because without that nothing of worth can be founded upon. Even a casual friendship, if it can not be taken as trustworthy.
And yet I hear of so many horror stories about how people are duped as to this and that, and I suppose, I can only view that as morally criminal.
Just wondering...
Would appreciate your comments, though, people of the Forum.

I live with my mum and to sisters and brother and I work as a landscape gardener And they are all on part time jobs and I work full time and when I come home because I dont always make the tea they call me lasy. My sisters say we can do your job all you do is rake a bit of soil. I do all the house work and cleaning and my brother says try working nights then you will no what hard work his. im on 160 a fortnight and I have to give my mum 100 board a week and my sisters 20 and my brother 20 so I never have any money. they say if I ever wone a lot of money they would want some so I would get nothing . and if they dont get there money they would fall out with me and they say if I dnot like it then I can lump it. is it all rong?

So I have child support court tomorrow and my ex is telling me that it will be a wasted court date cause he wont have all his paperwork they are asking him for by then. He is hoping to walk out of there without a judgement against him due to the fact he has failed to get his medical coverage statement and is 2006 tax info. Does anyone know if this is going to matter or not? They have his wages from his job already I just cant see them letting this man walk out of there when he has not paid a dime in child support in 8 months. Any info would be appreciated. I have all my info.
