My hubby and I broke up last month and I haven't called him or his family, etc............since. BUT he calls my mother from his friends house and his new cell phone number where he can easily block the numbers but he doesn't. The numbers he is calling from appear on my mom's caller ID without him *67. BTW, He calls my mom every other day. I ignore him completely. MEN: is my silence driving him crazy?????

I don't know about "ultimate" but silence or ignoring someone is a very effective way to make many people crazy. Most would rather have you curse them out to their face, than ignore them. Apathy is more effective than anger, and silence tells them you don't care.
I know the silent treatment drives me nuts...say SOMETHING, but don't just ignore me.

You know why he is calling and not blocking the calls? Because he is dying for you to call him back. If he is calling from friend's houses, he is probably telling them, how clingy or psycho you are and watch how you are going to call back. He sees you do not call back and that is going to drive him NUTS--- good job!! Thank you for advancing women's rights.

i like to think it works coz i do the same thing but honestly i think most men are thick. i dont think he really gets it but it bothers you that he aint getting it.
im talking from personal experience but my advice may be way off.
i personally would be more fired up if my partner was contacting my parents for a chat on odd days if we were not together - i'd give him what for.
