There's this wonderful girl in my life. We were doing some Christmas shopping over the weekend and also picked up some personal items for her. While we were there, she also tried on some clothes, and I had to admit, they looked really good on her. We just couldn't afford to get them. However I'm hoping to surprise her with them as a late Christmas present, since we won't be able to see each other over the holidays. My idea is to get her a whole outfit, including a bra and panty set she was looking at, and to write a poem to go with each article of clothing, something along the lines of how Romeo wished he was a glove upon Juliet's hand (read the balcony scene). Although there's one catch: this girl is currently seeing someone else. Yet her boyfriend treats her like dirt. She acknowledges this. She's also said many times that I have treated her better then her boyfriend has ever had, and that she can just be herself around me. So, do you think it's a good idea?

They broke up 2 yrs ago. They were 16 yrs together. We have been together for 8 mths - the last 3/4 mths I have suspected that he sees her at least once a wk (stays the night) and goes away with her for weekends here and there- telling me he is on a business trip and not to call him.

He has not told her he is in a relationship with someone else as he says it will hurt her. I have seen texts from her and there are many other signs.

When i tell him that this is unaccetable he blames me, saying i don't know how to love. He told me yesterday that the problem is all mine and he can't go on. I said to him that this is my only issue and why can't he call me when he his away before he goes to bed - he said this is not possible.

I am trapped with someone emotionally unavailable who will not stand up and tell the truth to me or to her. I cannot move from this - i want the truth from him. Why wont he tell me- he wants me 75% of the time and her 25%?

What should I do please help

I am slightly disabled. The guy that I love has MS for 6 yrs now. I always felt like my normal friends never 100% understood me
& my disabled friends only had 1 thing in common with me.. being disabled.

This guy and I have everything in common and I can be my TOTAL self with him.

He says he wants to visit, yet he doesn't think a relationship will work out because of distance. (He's in Canada, I'm in the USA.) He says he thinks I'm his potiental soulmate and that he deeply cares for me and sees me for who I am and won't let me go, yet he says he doesn't know if he loves me & has never been in love.

He used to be so confident to the point he was cocky and now he is a hermit with no one but me. He is a shadow of the former man he was.

How do I get him back? How do I show him the way to make that leap to love me? I just want to bring him back, restore him.

*Maybe some people with MS could give advice? Greatly appreciated.*

Last month, i went on a vacation with me, my wife and my single sister-in-law.(I have always enjoyed my sister in-laws company, so I didn't mind her coming along.) I think I might be pregnant with my second child. Ive been moody and depressed lately. Im young and I havent had the chance to experience what i would like in my life, I know if i have another child opposed to only one it would be majorly hard. My fiance is ready to settle down, so am i, but im so depressed. I dont want to give up my dreams or goals (thats how i put them) I hardly have time to myself, and im not the person i used to be. I dont have many friends, most gave up on me with my first child ( it didnt bother me) but no one understands or can tell me anything. Im sure im not the only one who feels this way. I would like to go back to school, i like going out here and there, but my fiance wants everything to stop (not school or work tho) I still want to enjoy my life and experience things that i should. I dont regret anything, Someone help me? am i depressed?

I have a girl living next door. ( SHE IS TENANT AT MY PLACE) and for quite a while we have been meeting over for a movie at my place on weekends.
i really like her and as her birthday is approaching i wanna gift her some thing that can make her under stand my feelings for her,

Also she works in shifts means that the time when i am home she is not and vica versa

For example, I am embarrassed to bring up women's issues or to wear tight clothes and am conscious of the way I sit and stand around him. I am also embarrassed about boyfriends and dating in front of him and I am an adult.

He acts very embarrassed around me when I walk past or stand close.

I have never been able to talk to him about anything much at all except hobbies and general interests. He does anything for me and is very kind but he is not really a devoted father figure.

I just don't get it, why so many people want to be tied down by marriage. I mean most of it ends in divorce anyway, but even if it doesn't, there are so many freedoms you lose once ur married. I personally will never get married ever. I am 19 y/o guy and I know a lot of people say stuff like this when they r young, but I am know who I am and its not for me. So what I want to know is why do so many people get married, cant be just love cuz there r so many negatives that out weigh that?????????????

What if she was your friend? What would you say to her?

My 19 year old friend, who's very mature, has been dating this guy for about a year. They're both very into each other. They get along pretty well, but sex seems to be the biggest thing in their relationship. He always tell her that he's very turned on by her. She's turned on by him too. It's not the only reason why they're together, but it's a big part of their relationship. Most of the activities they do together just to try to focus on other things than sex end up with the two of them having sex....lol

She's in college and she just got engaged and I'm happy for her, but just sometimes it seems a bit awkward. I just wanted to see what other people would think if they were in my shoes.

Howdy folks you may remember that I posed the above question a couple of gazillion days ago. I have decided to call it quits and am in the process of sorting things out - nothing has changed- she is still not working.

As funds are limited at this stage does anyone have any advice as to a source of reasonably cheap legal advice. Is CAB [citizens advice bureau] an option? not that i have one where i live. Any help (advice) would be appreciated. I thought that i could work it through by talking but it literally fell on deaf ears so i am taking the only option left even though it is going to cost me half of the house [to which she has had little input] - in the vicinity of some 200000 once everything is settled.
At the end of the day it is peace of mind, health and sanity which hopefully will prevail.

I live close to an old friend, we hook up frequently. Lately, I started to fall for her, despite our personalities were worlds apart.

I told her how I felt last week, she said she kinda felt likewise but not sure if she wanted to be with me and we should talk again. One day, she asked me why I wanted her and I said I had no answer, I just felt that way. Then she told me that she’s still not sure but I should not be in a relationship with her as she had a tendency to mess up guys she dated emotionally (she actually did) and that I was a nice guy, I didn’t deserve it. I said I didn’t care about the past and wanted to take my chance. She said that I felt the way I did because I had been spending too much time with her lately. She told me to stay away from her for the next few weeks and let her know if I still felt that same afterwards.

Did she tell me to take some time off just to turn me down in a nice way or did she mean it?
Should I pursue it any further?
