They broke up 2 yrs ago. They were 16 yrs together. We have been together for 8 mths - the last 3/4 mths I have suspected that he sees her at least once a wk (stays the night) and goes away with her for weekends here and there- telling me he is on a business trip and not to call him.

He has not told her he is in a relationship with someone else as he says it will hurt her. I have seen texts from her and there are many other signs.

When i tell him that this is unaccetable he blames me, saying i don't know how to love. He told me yesterday that the problem is all mine and he can't go on. I said to him that this is my only issue and why can't he call me when he his away before he goes to bed - he said this is not possible.

I am trapped with someone emotionally unavailable who will not stand up and tell the truth to me or to her. I cannot move from this - i want the truth from him. Why wont he tell me- he wants me 75% of the time and her 25%?

What should I do please help

Get out. He is not good for you. You see what is going on, so just leave.

He wants to have his cake and eat it too. That's totally unacceptable and you shouldn't put up with it. There's no reason why he wouldn't be able to call you while he was away on a business trip and he shouldn't still be texting her and hiding it. Tell him he either makes some changes and starts to respect you or he could go back to his ex for good... don't feel too bad, he'll end up cheating on her too.

He is trying to turn the problem around on you. Get rid of the jerk. He wants his cake and eat it too. You will never be happy with him because he will always be cheating. Take it from someone who just went through it recently.

Why do you need to hear the truth from him?
He's not going to give in and you already know it.
Act on in, getting extra confirmation doesn't change anything.

You need to leave him. He's being really f'd up to both of you and is going to wind up with neither of you in the end.

His actions have already spoken to you but, you don't want to listen. Let him go and move on....
