I gave you a star for asking such an interesting question. There are many ways to express love to a guy without saying "I love you." Let what you do--- speak louder than what you say. Let him hear you bragging about him to friends or relatives. Brag on things specific that he has done; not things in general. If you're married, you can start his car for him, ahead of time, making sure it is toasty warm for him as he drives to work. Gas up the car often; don't always leave it up to him just cause he's a man and that's what men do.
Men prefer indirect compliments, so when you say, "I just loved eating at that restaurant..." that will make his day. "I love that little dog/kitten you got for me." Or "I really like it when you make coffee in the morning." It makes him feel that he is pleasing you and making you happy.

That usually changes with the girl, and with the person she's expressing it to. My prof told us this story how he's a service-oriented person so he'll want to do something nice for his wife like do the dishes. She, however, is a gift-oriented person, so she doesn't notice the dishes, but if he brought her flowers she'd just go crazy with delight. Of course he's a service-oriented person so he never thinks to buy the flowers, he does the dishes. He on the other hand would appreciate her doing some act of service for him, but instead she thinks to buy him nifty little trinkets that he won't know what to do with. To make their marriage a successful one, they've both had to adapt to each other's ways of thinking.

You should find out what kind of things your significant other appreciates most - getting things, recieving acts of service, sharing time, a look, a touch, etc etc. There's a million different ways that a person can be motivated. Once you've found the right one for your relationship, try to focus on remembering to do that more often. Make notes to yourself if necessary and leave reminders.

Of course everyone's also going to tell you that sex is a good idea. Personally I believe sex is a great expression of love - the most powerful and meaningful expression of the deepest and most sincere love - which is why I'm saving that until I'm married. But not everyone is motivated by sex. If that's something you and your partner do together then see if it's the "big motivator" that you're looking for from my paragraph above.

For that, my "Guru" has always been, and shall always be that innocence in any child! Sometimes, the parents spoil the 'originality' by insisting that their child should learn to say "Thank you Uncle", to show that love and happiness, when they are given some small insignificant things like toffee or chocoalate etc! We are simply overwhelmed to see the eyes brighten up in that child, and we ask for no more. It is all said without saying it. A forced 'thank you' looks quite a 'plastic-flower', and spoils that silent expression!

Blink your eyes very fast in front of him that shows you are horny lol. Just kidding. Always be there for him. Also listen to him when his down and help him often. There are many ways to show affection, and it really depends on what type of person he is to determine the right way to approach him but usually being with him all the time whether he is happy or sad will build your relationship.

The way you see fit. You can't express your feelings through someone telling you what to do. that is just ridiculous. Do what you feel comfortable with. There are a ton of ways to let someone know you care about them...

good luck
