Yesterday we had another argument, I told her that gay people are born that way. And she said they have the devil inside of them.

My husband does not support me often when dealing with our sons who are 17 & 18. He actually feels that they have equal rights when a situation occurs. If they stay out all night he won't tell them to knock it off. If I do, they just ignore me. This is just one example. I feel he has undermined my authority and they don't have respect for me. I believe while they live here they are accountable to us. It seems he wants to be their friend which I disagree with. His father died when he was 14 so he was deprived of his father early. I think that may be why he doesn't "parent" them at times. If I feel strongly about certain issues, shouldn't he back me? I'm not trying to control them, but I feel that it is a matter of respect for them to behave in an appropriate manner while they live here. Not come home drunk, (has happened a couple of times), not blow me off when I ask them to do a chore, that type of thing. Am I wrong to be angry at my husband?

I am mother to a 5 year old daughter and I am pregnant with twins (due 3/08). My ex-husband just came back from Kosovo after 1 1/2 years and expects for me to let my daughter live with him for a year. Our custody agreement gives him every other weekend and 2 weeks out of the summer as far as visitation. I have never had a problem with his picking her up more often but, I have raised my daughter single handed since she was 3 months old. He just expects me to let her stay with him because I have 2 kids on the way. I told him, I am engaged and have a stable home with my fiancee. I explained that I dont need a "break" from my daughter just because I have 2 on the way. I pride myself on being a good mom. How can I get him to understand that he can see her whenever he wants but my letting her live with him for an entire year would not be in her best interest. He admitted that he is suffering from severe depression right now. I have no problem with him keeping her overnight but a year???!!!!

My husband and I have been married almost 10 years. Everything is great but I'm ready to spice up our love life. I know he would go for it also but I have a hard time bringing it up. Sex is still great and we occasionally try new positions but I want to have an experience that I will never forget and want to give him the same thing. I'm wondering if anyone has some advice for me. We don't do "toys" so no suggestions on those please.

I'm just curious. We're paying for our own event. I'm curious if there are many others in our shoes or are alot of people getting money from their parents or other relatives to pay for all or part of their wedding.

I am so annoyed with brokedown, desperate girls trying to steal my man. My boyfriend now is not interested in any of these hookers however in the past I got burned twice. Are you jealous of the girl because she has a man and you don't? Is there something else going on except you being greedy or need attention?

Ever since I can remember, my parents were too old to keep up with me . Their attitude was always "Why go out and have fun when we can stay home ?" . They griped and complained every time I wanted to go to the movies, or to another town . I didn't like that, and I swore I'd never put my children through that . NOW -- if your parents are older than most, what kind of an experience was that for you ? Did your parents push themselves to keep up with you, or did you have to have to sacrifice so your parents could take it slow and easy ? Did your parents gripe and complain whenever you wanted to have fun ? Was having older parents a good or a bad experience for you ? Do you think it's okay for parents to be old ? Are there any difficulties with having older parents that I didn't mention ?

My ex & I broke up 5 months ago. I hadn't answered his calls since, until last week. He said he'd missed me & I had missed him as well & he invited me out 4 drinks. He told me that he wanted to spend time with me & try again starting the next day. Well the next day came & he hadn't called me all day 2 make any plans. When I called him & said that I thought we were going 2 spend time today he got irrate & said he'd been busy in meetings all day & was just gettin' out of 1. I said ok got off the phone then he called back & canceled. I was highly upset, I asked y. He said I hadn't changed, y couldn't I just except that he was canceling. I told him that there was no need 4 us 2 try again cause it wasn't going 2 work 4 me.
I later found out he hadn't been in meetings but was registering 4 school & that had ended at 3. It was 6 when I called him.

Did I do something wrong or where did this go wrong. Y would he make up with me and then mess it up the very next day?

I have just finished going through a very very rough time in my career, where I was stressed, nervous, and generally a wreck. That is mostly resolved now, and I would like to think of some way to show my SO how grateful I am to him for being there for me, and being loving and supportive, even though I am sure he was sick to death of hearing about it - he never let on. I am sure that there were times that I haven't been exactly pleasant to be around, but he stayed by me through it.

What are some suggestions of ways or gestures to say, "Thank you - I love you SO much!"

So I want to do a save the date magnet for our wedding. My finace and I took a great picture of ourselves and I got the magnets from Office Depot. Here's the thing...I ran it by a friend of mine and she laughed and said it was a redneck idea. I know it's not her wedding, and I'm gonna do them anyway, but just wanted to see if other people thought the same as my friend.

I started liking this girl in school and I started to talk to her on the internet and she always replied and we had great conversations. I talked to her once in person, but then on her Facebook it said she was in a relationship with someone but I thought that was a lie, until she finally said who she was in a relationship with. She did not directly tell me but it was on her facebook...and now she completely ignores me on Facebook. She never responds to any of my messages anymore and she does not say anything. Im really heartbroken. Why did this happen? What does this mean? What should I do?

My fiance and I have set a date but the details still need to be worked out. I'm just want to know if anyone has any regrets about getting married too young. I plan on going to college and he is thinking about it. His mom is fine with us getting married, his dad isn't. My mom doesn't believe that we are getting married and I'm not sure if my dad knows.
We've been together for over 2 1\2 years and haven't done the break up, get back together thing. I just want to know if anyone has any regrets about getting married when they were young.

don't give me any of the "oh it depends on the guy" non-answers

I'm certain you've all had a ballpark figure in your head

on average:
1= not enough
100= probably way too many

so
2?
5?
10?
20?
30?
