Las Vegas might be the marriage capital of the world, but people in the tiny hamlet of Blue Diamond a few miles away have a distinction of their own: divorce capital of Nevada.
Blue Diamond, a place where wild burros and horses munch on lawn grass and wander in the streets, has a divorce rate of 35 percent, the highest in the state, according to new 2000 U.S. Census Bureau figures released Tuesday.
The state's divorce rate is 14 percent, same as in Las Vegas. The Reno area, which historically had billed itself as the state's divorce capital, only showed a rate of 15 percent. Nationally the divorce rate is just about 10 percent.

It is not fair to go by statistics on divorce when it comes to people who marry in Vegas because so many people get married in Vegas, more than anywhere else, of course the rate will be higher than in a place where less people get married. Wherever you marry does not determine if your marriage is gonna last, even the best elaborate weddings end up in a divorce. It is the two people getting married and their love and commitment for one another that will determine for a successful marriage. .

I would tend to agree with you. I was married in Vegas in Dec of 1999. We are still married, almost 8 years later. And I gotta say I don't plan on any fall-out. We are pretty great together. Anyway, there were some pretty strange couples in line with us waiting to get a marriage license. One man was filling out the form and asked the bride-to-be her last name, and he wasn't kidding. She had to spell it for him. Another couple had about a 35 yr age difference, and he was explaining to her how he would get her Green Card and Social Security Card, etc. And those were just 2 of the odd couples in line.

Sometimes, letting go seems like the easiest thing to do. But think about this: you've invested so much of your time and energy into another person; you've made a solemn promise; and you still know there's love, even if it's hiding underneath the surface. This website will show you how to save a marriage and avoid divorce, even if you're the only one trying https://tr.im/Hh72O

It would depend on where she files. It might be easiest to go back to Vegas and file for divorce there but if that's not possible she just needs to contact city hall or the equivalent where she lives to find out what she needs to do.

One of the most common questions spouses ask when confronting a marriage crisis is this: How can I save my marriage if my partner doesn't want to help find a solution? How do I succeed I am trying to save my marriage on my own? Learn here https://tr.im/AvoidDivorce
It is a typical enough story: one partner leaves, the other stays. One remains 'in love', the other is uncertain. Whatever it is that has caused a couple to be apart, the one person who remains bears the prospect, fear, doubt, desire, hope of saving his or her marriage' alone.

It is exactly the same as dissolving a marriage that took place in the UK, me and my ex did the whole thing online as there was nothing that needed to be agreed or apportioned. They will need the wedding certificate which (as I recall) can take a while to be issued and mailed.

It is higher, because many of them go out gambling after the marriage, lose everything, and get the marriage off to a bad start.
