I can never think of anything to write?

I'm hopeless with corresponding. I have email friends but i never have anything interesting to say. What can i write?

If you can talk, just write what you would say if you were talking to someone.

Try saying the same sort of stuff that you'd say to them if you were facing them, including the questions you'd ask. Actually, you can 'write' a really good 'letter' if you ask all kinds of questions. It also helps if you can tell them about your day ... either just 'list' the things you did or have to do or 'jazz it up' with your own comments on each thing. I know that 'writing' is difficult, but the MORE you do it, the easier it will get.

I know it sounds corny, but if the friends are from a different area, you could start out by talking about the weather, "Man, it's so cold today." Then there's sports, always a hot topic, and if that doesn't work, forward a joke, and just comment about it or something like that, I'm sure it will get the ball rolling for you...

Not to sound mean, but it's hard to write when there's nothing in your life. So, make your life interesting enough to write about...

If I can't think of anything to talk about, I say something random, just for a laugh...

"Hey whats up, anything new?? Soooo today i had a really bad day...it was really cold so i had to stay inside all day long. It was as borring as hell. So how you doing?? what's the weather like today? I'm so depressed because tomorrow I have _____ and i dont wanna go. What do you think i should do? sooo, do you have gf/bf yet?? I yesterday met a really nice girl named ____ and she smiled at me. I saw ____ in the bus yesterday and gosh she/he looked so pretty!! I wish I could talk to him/her one more time..anyway, did you decide ____ or are you still wondering? I'm soo hungry I have to leave to get something to eat quickly. Take care and best wishes xxxx."

Sometimes I feel like that when I'm about to entertain friends. I always go on to cnn.com or msnbc.com and look up just casual news. Something that catches your eye or something funny. You want to keep things lite, no religion or political things or murder, but a story about a nude carpenter always gets a good conversation going. Not to mention emailing it to someone so that they can read it can sometimes get them to send you things that they think are fun.

Write about something you've done interesting recently or a place you recently went to. Ask how they're day went, what they did the last weekend or what they'll be doing for the holidays.

When I cannot think of anything to write, I ask the other party questions. They usually answer and give me ideas from that, or they ask questions back.

you can write about your ay and what happened. It always happens to me, so i write how my day was. I also pick out any intreseting thing that happened throughout the day and describe it to my friends. you can talk about anything you want to see such as a movie, show, etc.

just tell them that not much interesting is happening in your life. or you could make a list of interesting things to accomplish, at least 2 a month. like to sky dive or do a cross country drive or something. or drive to canada...that's always fun. lol. just random things so you can tell them something interesting, and you'll have more experience. you'll make them envious of your stories...don't make anything up and lie. if you do that, it tends to backfire.
