This morning I went downstairs to get something to eat. My dad was also downstairs on a business call. My grandmother stood there just staring. I knew she wanted to say something but I didn't know it would be this bad. She basically accused my dad and I for "being too close". Closer than a father and daughter normally would. And I thought to myself, that is some bullshit. If you take all the minutes that I speak to my dad out of the day and add them all up, you'd get about 10 minutes out of 24 hours. She was saying stuff like I wear skimpy clothes around the house (pajama shorts which aren't even that short) and when I go to sit on the couch, I "pass my father to go sit on the couch." Then she was saying things like "People tell me I should have been a police officer because I am very observant." I was like thinking to myself again who the f*** cares? Then she tried to give me money. She hasn't apologized at all either. I told her I wasn't taking the money because I was mad at her.

My friend hat I have been talking about in my questions lately is very depressed lately. He found out that he will be having back surgery in a few months and won't be able to be the actine person that he is for a while. he is pretty depressed about that. his back hurts more than it ever has in the past this week. tonight i am going to his bday party and I want to try to cheer him up a little. when i saw him last night i reminded him that i have had a rough week also and he wasn't alone to try to cheer him, up, but i don't think it worked. Any suggestions as to what i can say or do tonight at the party to try to cheer him up, because when i talked to him on the phone this morning, when I asked him how he was, he said that he was the same as last night, depressed and in pain. PLZ HELP!

is it really possible to love more than one person? say their 3 girls that like one guy. The guy is confuse and doesnt know what to do. 1 girl he can easily talk to, another girl share the same dream as him and want to go to the same college/field with him and another girl who he dated but they broke up because he was still confuse and dont no what to do, she make cake and dessert for him to taste. he said he loves all of them but to many stuff on his mind like his life, his exams, his future and his love.

what would you expect if you and a close friend (a girl) were hanging out at home, alone, sitting on the couch together, watching a movie or something,
and you both knew that each of you liked each other (but you weren't going out yet, and neither of you had really 'made a move' yet)
so again, what would you expect, or what would you do (or what would you want HER to do?)

Me and my husband have been arguing a lot. I know that because I am pregnant my hormones are out of whack. But at the same time we argue over small things. I just dont understand it. I have told him time and time again that I dont like getting along this way and I dont think its healthy for the relationship. We discuss the small argument, but before you know it we are arguing again. I hate it, its getting the best of me. I am even considering counseling. I really want this marriage to work.
Any advice.?

My friend just married a childhood sweetheart after knowing him for years, but marriage and friendship is totally different and she realises she has made a major mistake. marriage took place a month ago - how easy will it be to get a divorce? Do the same principles apply as a british wedding being dissolved?

We have been married for 3 years and friends for over 7. We just don't seem to enjoy being together anymore. And want to try and get help before we are no longer able to even have a friendship. Today my husband finally talked to our neighbor about the tree that needs to be cut in our backyard. It took him 3 weeks and I constanly reminded him. Anyways he realized we need to get ahold of our landlord so they can do it. Well I am busy cleaning the house, and he needed the number so I found it for him. He asked me to call, but I said since you're about to drive for half an hour you should call because I still have cleaning to do. Then he got all mad and said that I never help him out. Which is bull because I cook almost everynight and clean the majority of the time, not only after him but his friend that lives with us too. Anyways he got mad about it and I got irritated and called him selfish then walked off. What do I do?

Ok so here is the situation, I am a high school senior and through out my four years here I have never like had a crush on any girl . Yeah sure, I would point out and say "hey that girl is pretty hot", but I have never had feeling for a particular girl. That all changed this year. I know this one girl who is just amazing. She is a cheerleader but does not fit the stereotype.In actuality she is really smart, funny, amazingly gorgeous and really nice. But here is the problem, I am an american born sikh and she is well, white. Also, she is a cheerleader and I am a competitive runner. I'm pretty confident with myself and I'm a health freak so I have a athletic body but the problem is that I wear a turban and grow a beard due to my religion. I am a devout sikh, but I really like this girl and I dont know what to do. Im thinking of asking her to winter formal. I just need some advice. Can somebody help me out?

I absolutely cannot stand my family. I don't love them in any sense. My father makes me feel ahsamed, grinning at me when I try to discuss serious things I care about with him and giving saracastic, sometimes piggish replies. My grandmother pays, I'll say, weird attention to me in subtle ways, and whenever I say how something makes me uncomfortable that they do, they keep doing it more, and then smile and walk away looking pleased. And my sister is overbearing. From what I've read this is emotional abuse. They guilt me when I say I don't want them in my life when I move out, but is it so bad of me to not tell them where I go, at least for 2 years?

note that it's all subtle what they do, if I were to try telling a teacher it'd sound ridiculous, but they're skilled mental terrorists.

help? I'm not obligated to love those who treat me with disrespect am I?

My roomate was upset someone sent him an email saying that he is a fat clumsy nerd who cant get a woman. However they was no threat of physical violence but he still want to report it to the office of student conflicts. Would it be best for him to throw away the email and move on since he did not get any further emails?

I feel that I stay at home 24-7 with the kids. I am a SAHM and feel that I don't have a life. My husband is a part time firefighter and a full time EMT. I feel that his whole world revolves around it. Now he is trying to get on the Ohio Task Force. I guess I should be happy for him...I just wish he could fit in more time for us. Most of the time we don't have enough money for me and the kids to go out. I don't have too many friends because I babysit from home all week. I don't have a life. I don't know why it is so easy for him just to leave and do what he wants but I am stuck home all day. I know it isn't like he is messing around on me, and I know that he is trying to better his career...but what about me? Where is my "ME" time? I guess I am just frustrated in not EVER having any money. I barely had enough money to put gas in my car to make it to town... any ideas? I don't want to make him feel bad...I want to feel good though...like I could have a life too.

I moved to a place where I didn't want my family to know because we have a big history of not getting along. My brother surprisingly moved into town from another state & he's trying to leech off of people for free. He terrorized my twin sister's house & now he plans to do it to me. He talks about me like I'm the scum of the earth but wants to live underneath me for free & tag his meddlesome girlfriend along.

Well, yesterday I found out he was in town & I ended up giving him my address, not knowing he was planning to take advantage of me & then my twin sister told me about the dirt he did her & plans to do me 10 times worse. I'm afraid he's gonna do me like he did me before by putting his stuff in my house & claiming my address & messing up my SSI benefits & living with someone else.

I was so afraid yesterday I had an anxiety attack. When he knocks @ my door, what should I do? My friend told me to ignore him.

Me and my ex broke up 3 weeks ago , we was together 2 years
i am 23 he is 26, we both work together in a big call centre where everyone is really clicky and knows everyones business
anyway we broke up it just wasnt working out anymore (arguing etc)
we have text a few times which ended up in us sleeping together each time which i knew in my heart was wrong as we was never going to be together again , so to really put an end to things i told him i have a boyfriend and that im with someone else now. he replied back that he is too , ( its a girl that works at our workplace i sit near her and have to see her everyday , any way i have to now see them togather he is always around her she is pretty , im so upset how can he do this to me with somewone that works with us , im hurting so bad i feel like rippin my guts out it hurts so bad i feel sick with it all , when i see them together it feels like my heart stops beating i start shaking and feel physicaly sick.all i do is cry ..
