what would you expect if you and a close friend (a girl) were hanging out at home, alone, sitting on the couch together, watching a movie or something,
and you both knew that each of you liked each other (but you weren't going out yet, and neither of you had really 'made a move' yet)
so again, what would you expect, or what would you do (or what would you want HER to do?)
and please don't say se.x that's just immature.

If you know you like each other, then in a situation like this, just act. Over-analysis of the situation is a common thing that will bog people down and fix them with either a fear of rejection or a fear of screwing up or both. It's hard to put yourself out there and make the first move but the one who does do it also gains a small amount of respect for the other person (especially if it's the girl who makes the first move since most guys are used to being stuck with that role). But what all of this boils down to is that you just have to act with your gut feeling and not to second guess it. Think of it like the first time you had to swim without anyone to hold you up; you're afraid to move, to jump in and screw up and get hurt, but once you do you realize that the awkwardness and the fear beforehand was unwarranted because this isn't nearly as hard as you thought it would be.

Well I have to say sex, because that is what's on every guys mind (and some girls), but it would depend on the type of relationship. Sometimes having a friend is better than a "partner".

First an awkward moment, then a kiss. After that first electric kiss then a make out session.

Well since I'm a shy guy, it would really depend on how long I've known the person and if I was sure that she liked me in that way.

I would sit there looking very attractive as usual and expect her to make her move.

Um... major make out session?

Lol, uh, if both of you know you really like each other, what's holding you back?
