drugs make you into something that you normally would not be, so therefore it could just be the drugs and they both need to lay off them....they really hurt you....not right away but in the long run and once you get off you finally realize the things that you have lost and the people that you have hurt. They should both get off the drugs before they hurt each other without meaning to.

Probably because they are more in love with the drugs that they have become dependent on then they are with each other. They have probably long ago lost trust and faith in one and other and are still together mostly out of convenience then any type of emotional attachment. As well they may both be very frightened of living without the other as they have developed a co-dependent type of relationship with each other.

drugs kill make you do stupid thing before you can think leave the drugs along seek help now leave the other person if they refuse treatment
