A couple of months ago my best friend found out about me having sex with her boyfriend. She cut our friendship off and they decided to stay together and try to work things out. Unfortunately for her he decided recently that he didn't want to be in a relationship and they broke-up. She called me last night and wants to be friends with me again. I don't think I should because she was a bad friend to choose him over me in the first place and she got what she deserved. If I become friends with her again how can I trust that she won't choose a guy over me again?
My other friends say I'm wrong but I really don't think I am! Shouldn't she have to prove her friendship to me before I become friends with her again?

My sil said that she has white and Indian in her family. She does not look like it. I have white and Indian in my family but I look like what I sat that I am. I am not calling her a liar. The truth can be told on what I do know. You can look at some people and tell that they are mixed with something. I believe that my sil is jealous of me. She wants to be something that she is not. She is jealous because she does not look waht she say she is..

I'm getting married next year and the only thing that I am stressing about is the "Father/Daughter" dance. I haven't seen my father is over 10 years and don't plan on ever seeing him again. My question is, for the Father/Daughter dance, what do I do? I have talked to my fiance about this and he says to ask his father if he would dance with me. The only thing about this is that I feel it would be stepping on his sister's toes. That is her father and not mine. I don't have any other male figure in my life. Any suggestions???

I have been single for 2 1/2 years and I've gotten comfortable being that way. I don't like being committed to someone. I am the type of person that does things on the spur of the moment. I don't really make plans, unless it's with my family. When I'm with someone, I get this feeling like I am being selfish for keeping that person hanging around for me, when they could have someone else's full attention. I have to say this, I was with someone for 5 years the first go around then with someone else for another 5 years then married for 3. Now I've been single for a little over 2 years and don't know how to be any other way anymore. Sometimes, I get the feeling that after going through what I went through with those relationships, I am ruined as far as, ever having a relationship with someone and I don't know how to over come that.

I'm 24, will have my 1st baby in Jan. Since I was 14 I resent my parents, they were extremely harsh and tortured me emotionally when O made some mistakes many teens do. The knew I regretted my mistakes and was a good girl, but anyway punished me hardly and for months didn't trust me, though they knew I sincerely regretted my mistakes and their trust was important to me. I pleaded for it but they were unforgiving, a true emotional massacre. When I got it back it wasn't so importabt anymore, I had found people who trusted me, gave me moral support and were emotionally more important to me than my parents. I became old, distant, though I made them proud. Today I'm graduated, hubby and I work, I have a good life, fortunately. But I don't talk to my parents, though they insist and want to be with me when I give birth to my baby a boy. Of course he'll make mistakes, but I'll never do to him what they did to me. Am I wrong in writting off my parents? Some people think so, but it's my right.

Does a married man ever leaves his wife for the woman he's been cheating with? If so, does that relationship last? What if the woman that he's cheating with leaves him alone, but he still chases her? What if the woman that he's been cheating with moves across town away from him, but he tries to get her to move back? Does he really care for her or what?

Me and my girlfriend have been together for 2 months now. In the beginning when we met we both agreed that we found our soul mates, true love and the one we would marry. For the past 5 days she has become distant all of a su. Intially she told me just to give her a little space.(Not cheating) She just claimed to just want some alone time with herself to preserve her identity as a independant women. Last night we spoke and she is now telling me she does not know what is wrong with her and it is bothering her that I am hurting cause of her recent behavior. She stated that she feels resentful in a way becaue i may have smnothered her. She continusoulsy states that she is not breaking up with me or plans to and loves me.. She has started a new birthcontrol (ortho trcycline). I feel it may be that, because 5 days of her taking it this all began. Basically i am looking for some help as to understanding why she has pushed back when everything was great. Any advice would be great. Thank

In a relationship for 5 years and they started living together. The woman was paying for all the bills such as rent, food and bills. The man got a $1000 plus coming in to him as income. It fights started because the man was refusing to contribute to the household. His excuses was the place was not in his name so he should not have to pay rent and that he was in a relationship with her. He didn't want to help out with purchasing the food either or bills. When he gets his check he would immediately spend it and by the time it came to the following weekend for them to go out he would say he was broke because he blow all his money when he was out with his friends all week. So that costed even more money to her for them to go out. There are children also involved that they had together. The man had got mad because the woman refused to lend him any money but yet he didn't give her a cent when she ask him for money to help out with living costs. He left left and told her to grow up

I have been seeing this man for a little over a month now and he is great. I had just three months earlier gotten out a 1 yr relationship which was dreadful. He knows what I went through and has been standing by my side. We were friends first so keep that in mind. He tells me all the time he is so happy things happened the way they did that we are together now. It just happened neither one of us were looking for a realationship we like i said were just friends enjoying each others company. Then one night we kissed and it has been nothing but up hill from there. There are so many times that I feel I am falling in love with him already and I feel real strong he feels the same way we are just (I think) both scared of the other persons reaction. He says everyting he can possibly say to me about how he cares about me except those 3 words. Me to.

Is it to soon to love someone and when is it appropriate to say it to one another????? Please help!!

We've lived our entire lives in Michigan.

It's a promotion and a great opportunity for him. He said he's not going to go if I'm not on board - so of course I'll do this for him.

My parents (who live on a fixed income) have always given a gift or sent money in a card to my husband for his birthday, but my husband's parents have never acknowledged mine.

The drama capital of the world is wherever my in-laws are, so the lack of this acknowledgment truly doesn't bother me. Even my husband would prefer to be around my family than his own.

I'm wondering why there is such a disparity. We have lived with, nearby and far away (1,600 miles) from both sets of our parents since we married, so physical distance is not a factor. My in-laws were thrilled when I married their son because his first wife was such a "manipulative flake." I'm told that I am much more stable, level-headed and reliable, and they could see that my husband and I made each other happy. His family celebrates the birthdays of my husband, his sisters (but not his sisters' spouses) and all the grandchildren.

Why do you think this is? Is it the same way with your in-laws?

My fiance does not have health insurance with his current job. At this time I have health insurance and if we got married I could cover him on mine. He's coming down with strep throat and has a tooth that needs pulled. He also has some back problems that require care. We were thinking of having a "shotgun" wedding soon so that he can have health coverage, but we cannot afford to have the reception now. The problem is - I already bought my "non returnable" wedding dress. Would it be tacky to have the wedding now and wear the dress to the reception in May?

A friend of mine has heard something that may be rubbish or may be an old obscure law; that (in the UK) as a man cannot be inferior to his wife(!), if the wife has a PhD and can call herself 'Dr' (for example), then the husband can also call himself 'Dr'.

Now this sounds like rubbish to me, and I cannot find any reference to it anywhere, so has anybody else heard of this, and if it's true, does anybody have a reference for it?

Thanks.
