my wife immediately cut her off & said she was wrong, but the pain of the comment still remains. how do i handle this? Am I being too sensitive? I had self esteem issues when I was younger and that comment really struck me to the core. Any advice-thanks in advance?

We are staying at my parents and when he came home from class my parents smelled it on him. So while he was outside working on his car my mom went in my room looking for clothes so she could help me with laundry, and she was checking his coat pockets and found a pipe and a vile of weed in his pocket. Not only that but there were recent ashes in the pipe. Well when I came home my parents told me about it..and at first I didnt believe it. So when I layed down on my bed next to the coat I smelled it, and i went thru the pockets and found nothin..So I confronted him and he said yea he enjoys it once in a while, its no big deal. But it is to me because im pregnant 4 mos with his child and I dont feel safe nor do i trust him if hes doin that.He told me he would stop but I still dont trust him. He broke the pipe right in front of me and threw the weed away in the outside trash..but everytime I talk to him about why it bothers me he just laughs.

Who ever was rude can go to hell. Why would I lie about being married to a African. Is that such an odd thing to believe? He is Muslim and I'm not trying to make a racial thing out of this, I only mentioned "black" b/c I didn't know if it was a cultural/religious thing. I was actually my husbands first time w/that. He said that he had never done it to anyone else b/c he knew he wouldn't marry them but he did have sex w/others so I don't know how he views it. He also said that back home, the girls don't know about that. That's why I'm thinking it has something to do w/his values or religion. There is nothing wrong w/ me down there (smell wise or anything else). My ex did it daily and for long periods. Don't know y u all think I'm lying about being married to an African. I know all about the African food- Love the peanut butter sauce. Him and everyone he knows are the nicest people. You all should find one. Much more welcoming then any white man's family I've seen. Must b the religion.

well, long story sort.

I am confused. Dated someone very seriously for years, but were friends and co-workers beforehand. The relationship has ended, and run its course. It has been 18 months, her choice. She said she would like to try to become friends. Problem is every time I approach, she shuts down, gets defensive etc. I have left things be for 6 months, but am hesitant to try gain, as she stated last time, she wants no contact.

What's up? I never had troubles with at least saying hi to an ex. And she is unwilling to even say why she is so anti-communacative...guilt, anger????

Should I just leave it? I would like to be friends, she is a great person, and our differences didn't help the relationship, but intrigue me and interest me....we could always talk, laugh and communicate.

Any advice. And before people say, i am just trying to get back...I am not, I am happy, but good friends are not easily found.

I'd like to get some womens opinions on why my wife behavior. Ever since I've been married, and I'm talking about from the honey moon on, my wife has been reluctant to engage in any physical intimacy. We probably have sex once every 6-8 weeks and other types of intimate actions about as often. Whenever I have approached her about this, she has told me that I was over reacting and this was normal as she has told me numerous times that most married couples are less active than we are. I've heard every excuse imaginable to avoid intimate contact, from it's to early to it's to late to I haven't had enough exercise. When we were dating this never was an issue, but as soon as I married her, it all started. The only exception was when she was hiding the fact that she was talking to her ex-bf. Then she was all over me. Can any one shed any insight as to why she would do this?

My boyfriend & I just began talking about getting married last month. We haven't bought the ring yet (that will be very soon, though). I've only told a handful of people about our intentions and the drama has ALREADY started.
We're looking at Oct 2009 and I'm ready to scrap our plans and go to Vegas already!
So how long did your families let you enjoy planning to get married before they started the drama?

I'm a guy...

We get along famously. We never fight about anything and I'm so sick of always getting along. All of our couple friends are always complaining about these screaming matches they have at least once a week, and I'm so jealous. I don't have the least thing to whine about. They all tell us we're lucky, but I don't think I can hide the disappointment any longer.

Maybe I could tell him that I slept with some other guy, but he would probably leave me and take the furniture and I really love napping on the loveseat. Then I thought I could constantly complain about his mother, but his mom is dead and I don't want him to think I'm crazy. Or do I?

I think it's high time we get into a huge fight to put the passion back into our relationship. All of this agreeing on everything is really starting to get boring. It's either this or I'll be forced to have an affair with the guy down the block, who I saw raise a real ruckus on Jerry Springer. He seems like he's got a real short fuse.

My wedding director told me that some brides have a friend (usually the maid of honor) stand in for her at the rehearsal. The bride sits back and watches everything. Has anyone else heard of this or done it? I think it would be a little weird to watch someone else practice marrying my future husband.

Now I know that cheating has been around since mankind has existed. Its nothing new and never will be. I know that. But for the sake of a conversation and disscussion. . .

Do you feel that cheating has become as big of a problem as we're always hearing? Has it become too much of a common-trend? Do people even second guess their actions?

Do you think the people who have the affairs, even really care who they're effecting and how their actions will effect others? Cause that's what the problem is.

And from what I hear, a lot of people who do cheat. Feel "entitled" and "deserving". . . really? How much of these people are actually "entitled" to do what they do?

And another thing I've seen, is pride. A lot of people seem to be very boastful of affairs these days. Like its an accomplishment. . . Why is that?

And last. . .your final thoughts?

Mine is. Its a damn shame. . .

My mother-in-law called last night to let me know that she and my father-in-law want to come and help me when my father is near the end. They want to help care for the rest of the family so I can spend time with my dad and not worry about carring for everyone else.
They have saved the money for plane tickets and are standing by waiting to help. By the time I got off the phone I realized how great they really are.
