alright so i'm almost 18 and i would like to date college guys and maybe some hs kids. but i feel like college dudes see me as... a child (for lack of better wording). how can i get them to see me as more than a "little sister" or a little kid. because i'm not any more. i'm an adult and would like to be treated as such.

please keep your answers clean. thanks!

I've decided to continue pursuing (not forcefully) my ex in hopes maybe one day it will work out like it did before...problem is she seems to have this set image of me already that developed in the last 4 years. I'm really guessing that the biggest reason why we broke up is because the excitement ran out as she and I saw each other almost everyday and since I was her first major bf, she wanted to see what else is out there. To shatter this fixed image and to make things fresh again what should i do? Should I avoid her for a period of time (we broke up now for 3 months but we've still pretty much seen or spoken to one another several times a week (during this time she seems to be more and more sure about advocating for the friends thing).

Here's the scenario:

You cheated on your spouse. You finally got caught or the infidelity was revealed rather. You and your spouse talk things out and they decide to take you back and work things out (for better or for worse, as per your vows). You are really remorseful for what you've done and you are grateful that he/she is taking you back and giving you another chance.

A year or so later you suspect your spouse is now cheating. You don't have any real proof but you think something is fishy by his/her actions. Finally you confirm that he/she is cheating on you. You confront him/her and they tell you the truth and tell you they are cheating because of what you did to them. They tell you that they know two wrongs don't make a right but they are hurt.

Would you be angry at them and file for a divorce, or would you be just as willing to work the marriage out as they were?

P.S. I am the person that was cheated on and no, I am not thinking of cheating. Just curious.

I've been dating my boyfriend for 3 years. I'm currently in my last semester of college and I just got a full-time job. The job pays crap and I'm not lying either. But, it's a foot in the door at a company w/ loads of personal growth potential.

My boyfriend works full-time. We both had financial difficulties, but mine are almost cleared up. His should take another 6 months to clear up.

I'm frustrated b/c I feel like we are at a great time in our lives to move to the next step. A wedding won’t be able to happen until at least 2009, but I feel an engagement is appropriate at this time.

When I bring it up he says, "I know we want to be together. But, we both still have a lot of things to work out in our personal lives (mainly financial and w/ job security)"

I just don't feel content with this answer. But, I don't want to pressure him either. Like I said, I'd be willing to have a 18 month engagement.

I haven't talked to my ex-boyfriend in 6 mos. I called him tonight for the 1st time to wish him a happy late b-day since I felt awkward about not talking to him for such a long time. I just wonder how could you be so in love & so intimate & then later on, there's no contact whatsoever? & I hear ALL the time how people become best friends with their ex. Most people say, "He's your ex for a REASON." So I called him & wished him a happy b-day to try to see how he was doing, & he made a lame excuse to get off the phone, so I cursed him out because I'm so hurt about how cold he treated me when we were together, & I was so blind I couldn't see his dirt. I cared about him & trusted & confided in him, & I don't know what I did to turn him away. He just up & cheated for no reason. I tried to give him a lot & he never appreciated what I had to offer. I was homeless & he refused to take me in his home. I almost got murdered by a roommate, & he didn't even come to my rescue. I'm about to cry.

So last night I got absolutely sh!tfaced and woke up naked on the bathroom floor (yeah, i know) After some investigating I found out that I lost my virginity to a guy I know at the party. I feel like such a sl*t and I would really feel better if me and this guy started a relationship but I don't know how to let him know I'm interested without freaking him out. Should I tell him that was my first time? I just don't want him to be like "Oh great I screwed this chick and now she thinks we're in love or something." Should I ask him to lunch or something or just wait and see if he makes a move?

No strings attached & risk STD's? I'd fear a disease before I fear commitment in a relationship. & why is it that even when a guy is looking for a 1-night stand & cheating on his wife, the other girl has to look so perfect & flawless-model style, but the guy himself can look like trash? You want a PERFECT-looking girl for ONE night! & you know you don't wanna be in a relationship with her nor get her pregnant, even though there is a chance of pregnancy & STD's. & you just run free. I think beauty is SACRED & if you want a hottie, then why don't you settle down with her & marry HER? If your current wife is such a bad person, then why did you marry her in the 1st place? (I'm not saying "you" specifically. I mean guys in general) But I know not all guys are like that.

Well about 2 weeks ago my boss and i had got into a argument, only because he wrongfully accused me of stealing. He pretty much thought he seen something he didnt see and he has been rude to me ever since. I was late the other day for work 5 minutes late. and My manager told him about it which she is always late and I have never said anything about it to our boss. But when I found out she told him I was late and he went off on me for it I told him she was late all the time too, he pretty much said he didnt care that she was late only me. He hates me and I know it. and im not happy there anymore. But my Manager says my Boss wont take notices. So how should I quit then? He wont fire me because he doesnt want to pay unemployment, but he wants to cut my hours back and I refuse to have that happen just because he doesnt like me. I would much rather leave the place. So as I said my question is how should I quit if he wont take a notice? And how long will it take to get my check?

I've been living with my dad my entire life (I'm 16) and my stepmother joined us three years ago. It was okay the first two years, but just the other day she just... lost it. I made a small, simple mistake (bought the wrong salmon fillet) and she just went completely berserk. She started yelling at me as soon as she checked the fridge the next morning, stating I'm absent-minded and stupid. I told my dad about her anger management, but unfortunately she overheard our conversation and started yelling at us. She said the most ridiculous things, such as "Your previous mother was stupid and ugly," and "Your son is a stupid, uneducated bastard." How would I deal with this?

I have been divorced for about two years now. After I left her I have nobody to talk on the phone or hangout with at all. I mean NOBODY. I'm not a drinker so I don't do bars. I also look at clubs as being nothing more than drama waiting to happen. I can honestly say that my six year old is my best friend. But I know that I cant hangout with my kids for the rest of my life.So to make a long story short..I am tired of just sitting here every weekend and having no social life. So if you were me and in my postion, what would you do? Be honest.

Almost 2 years ago I won residential custody of my 2 children while me ex wife gets the vacations. The truth is I lied in court. I told some very ugly lies about my ex wife that were not true and now that the kids are getting older I am afraid they will start to ask questions and my ex wife will tell them the truth. I worry that they won't want anything to do with me when they read the court papers. It's just that my ex wife hurt me when she left me, but I was cheating on her. I am told that keeping the kids from her is hurting her alot and I can't help but feel proud about this. I have a new wife and she has 3 kids that I don't much care for. I wish I didn't ever have to send my kids to their real mother. Don't get me wrong, she is a good mother to them but I am bitter towards her for leaving me. I am still in love with her and my current wife makes my skin crawl. What should I do? I am mixed up. Please help.

After a long hard day of work, when I come home all I want is a home cooked meal prepared by my wife? Is that too much to ask for? She sits on her stupid *** every day doing God knows what, and doesn't have the decency to cook me some god damn dinner.

I'm getting sick of this garbage she keeps feeding me. She keeps screaming she's her own woman, now she sounds like some crazy feminist, even goes as far as crying.

When I see her sitting around on her lazy *** I point at her and scream 'GET BACK 2 KITCHEN' but she's "got a mind of her own now" and doesn't want do things for me anymore.

She even went so far as threatened to get a restraining order on me, after I struck her in one of our arguements. It was a light backhand on the cheek, and she get's all worked up, but I'm the one with the right to be mad.

How can I whip my wife into shape and teach her how wives are supposed to act? Make me meals, get me my newspaper, etc.

I am not good with words , so nothing I say to her will prove how sorry I am , I did as she asked and ended all contact with the woman who I was involved with , we're still sharing our house she wants me to sell it so we can both our seperate ways , I know what I did was wrong but we have children and yes I know I should have thought about them before putting my wife and our kids through this , but I really dont want to lose her , this is 2nd marriage for both of us .
I really need advice , I saw her answering question's here and I know she'll probably read this , I dont feel counciling is needed because we should be able to work it out ourselves , she wont let me back in her bed which is fine I'll continue to stay on the couch as long as she wants , sex isnt the issue with us and it wasnt why I had the affair , my wife is beautiful and loving and she didnt deserve what I did .
I felt a connection emotionally to the other woman I havent felt with my wife in some time.

I feel like she's seeing this guy only because she doesn't think she can do better. He doesn't have a good personality at all, and he doesn't have much of a future, and he's not that considerate of our family. And my parents don't like him much either.

I know, if it were someone else's question I would be saying, "Lay off, it's her life and she's an adult." But she's my sister and I think she can do so much better than this guy.

The problem is how to tell her without making her get defensive about it.

Many guys last short period of time. 1 minute to 12 mintues or so. is this a major disappointment for women?

I mean if they are the high sex drive women, dreaming of having great sex but then the man lasts 1 minute.

Many women see how men think alot about sex and want sex.. but i believe it's terribly disappointing fot them wen they find out.
I wonder if that's the reason women are becoming more and more BI these days. cause they don't get satisfied

If you are married, Your husband is straight forward person advising you the best way to be in a relationship or in a health marriage life. You ignore, Your turn back and tell your husband that you are a type of woman who learns after something happens. I Consider this statement as stupid and advise her the best thing is to prevent something from happening. My advise seem to be nothing. when a husband leave home, she leave too. Sometimes she dropped off her husband at work and don't go home. A husband call home and no one is at home. She come in the morning pick the husband up in the morning with the kids at the back seat dead asleep. when you ask her politely that you had called home several times, she turns back and tells you they slept earlier. She turns back ask you loaded questions which in naked truth aman wonders what the hell she comes up with them and a man ignore them since he consider the quiz as offectic. If your husband does not spend a night at home(being at work) is it not apropriate for a wife to go home with the kids and do what she is supposed to do. She turns back accuse a man that she is not paying her attention. To hell with attention. A man is fully hurt behind the wifes behavior and she keep on talking nonsense and when you communicate with her, she is quick to complete your sentence for you. Married Couples how would you expect your husband to react towards you?

I'm 15 and my 13-year-old little sister is always teasing me about my everything. I get better grades than she does and normally that is my only defense tatic against her, she goes 'uh-huh.' She teases me about my weight, I'm 4'11 and I weight 106. She's 5'0 and she weighs 101. She's an inch taller than me and she's always teasing me about that. She's always telling me what people say behind my back and than she rubs it in my face. I haven't had my first kiss yet and she says I'll be that same weight when I'm 81. She even said she can predict the future and I'll lose my virginity at 28 when I'm drunk to a guy I don't know. She's always making gay jokes about me(I'm straight). I have this friend from when I was little that I stopped talking to two years ago and she's always saying this girl is hiding in my closet. I had a glass of water in my room and she said it was ***. She really getting on my nerves. Whenever she catches me doing something embarrassing like singing or something,
