alright so i'm almost 18 and i would like to date college guys and maybe some hs kids. but i feel like college dudes see me as... a child (for lack of better wording). how can i get them to see me as more than a "little sister" or a little kid. because i'm not any more. i'm an adult and would like to be treated as such.

But you are underage. At my university, I've heard of stories where a lot of guys tend to be very uncomfortable when their roommates have gfs who are still in high school, because well you essentially are jailbait.
High school and college life are completely different and oftentimes it doesn't work out. Many people go "whoa!" their first semester of college because they realize what it means to be an adult. You're still in high school and haven't experienced that.
Yes you want to be treated as such, but why are you running after the college guys? Why don't you just focus on school and look forward to college? That behavior doesn't look adult to them, but looks jailbaity.
Trust me, college is a different world.

Being as how you become a college student in most places at 18 dating college guys wouldnt be a problem. They shouldnt be seeing u as a child if ur gonna be there soon

If you are around guys who see you as their little sister it is because they have probably known you forever. If there is a guy you like you need to be more flirty. Don't over-do it but be cute and subtle and sweet and eventually the right guy will ask you out and before you know it you will be out of that awkward....where am I now stage. Good luck and have fun dating.....(I know you said nothing dirty but this IS clean, if you decide to have sex.....use a condom....too many diseases and unwanted pregnancies....k)

if those college dudes are looking at you as a child then dont give them the time of day, look for a guy that dosent care about your age but cares about you for yourself

well, first off, dont throw temper tantrums like you did up there. 'i'n not a child anymore!?' well, i mean, people judge you when they see you, they shouldnt, but they do. so when they see you, they might think 'oh she hot but way to childish for me' thats why YOU have to move in. YOU have to go talk to them and show them that you arent a little kid. But dont bring it up at all, dont say 'see? im not as childish as you may think' that will only ruin it all. Patience my friend.

This might sound really bad to some poeple, but it is about the vibe and appearence you give out. trying looking more like a college girl, or if that doesn't work go straight out and dress rediculously sexy, edging slutty. I know....it sounds horrible, but honestly, thats sorta what I would do.

maybe your actions portray you as a child...and you're almost 18? which means you're only 17...you are still a child...grow up...give it a few years...then you will be old enough to interact with the college scene.

i guess act like one. maybe they see you as a child because youact like one? not sure.. just a thought. my friend had the same problem (then agian.. she acts like a five year old so its hard to take her seriously), give it some time, and you will find a guy that likes you more than that. chances are someone already does, they are just to afraid to amit it...
