i did by myself auto plates with my favorite band on it. i told him i would say its from him. but he never actually takes the time out to buy me something on his own. not even a card. kind of makes me wonder. oh he went golfing with his friends on my birthday. then came home to sleep till he went into work. maybe im dumb, but do most men do things for their wifes?

Ok so I am 28 with two children. I have not had an actual boyfriend since I was 15. (if that is what you want to call it) But here is my deal I am completely in love with my son's father. He is the best man that I have ever known but he only see's me as a good friend. We weren't dating or anything when I got pregnate with my son it was well pretty much a one night stand but in the past 3 years we have come to know each other very well. His family refers to me as his wife and I get along with them very well. He doesn't correct anyone when they call me his wife or girlfriend but he doesn't act like a boyfriend or anything with me. I also have a 13 year old daughter who adores him and want him as a father and he treats her like he is her father. Help I don't know what to do? Put my life on hold until he bucks up and wants to be with me or move on and say sorry you had your chance.

ok long story short I had been seeing this guy who I knew was emotionally unavailable lol aka didn't want to be in a relationship and even though I am looking for a relationship right now I went for it anyway. He told me not to get attached to him and stuff like that after about a month and it hurt me a lot. So he said he wanted to take it slow, he would call me every other day for about a week and then he slowly stopped calling. I called him once and he never called me back after that. I thought that was it, it was over, and he had just used me and didn't want to talk to me ever again. Well just a few minutes ago, after 2 weeks of not talking to him and a month without seeing him he called me and left me a message saying that he's been thinking about me all week and something was wrong with his phone...blah blah blah. He's calling me back tomorrow what should I do? What do you think he wants?

I ve been with my girlfriend for a little ove a year and i think shes is very interesting and loving person. when i met her, her exs were always callin her on her phone trying to get back with her a few months ago she got a new phone and number and her exs call her on that phone too. I ask her why she feels she need to talk with them and basically what she said she was trying to make them feel guilty for cheating on her. I've been married for about a year and a half and with him for 4 years. We went to high school together and still hang out with the same friends. I can't talk to my friends because we have the same friends. I've never really been all that interested in sex with him and lately, I've discovered I'm not attracted to him at all. I've only had sex with one other person, so I feel like maybe I didn't get to get out there and experience more or date more.... He is my best friend; we talk about everything, so we have a good relationship in that respect, but I feel awful because I don't want to have sex. He's starting to get really frustrated with me and has even suggested that maybe I don't love him anymore. The last 6 months or so I've felt like I've been falling farther and farther out of love with him. I don't know what to do... I can't afford councelling right now and he's extremely sensitive, so I don't want to talk to him until I'm confident that I won't say something wrong. Plz help!

Ok well i was emo awhile ago because i have a ton of familly and friend situations that i am getting to the point where i can't deal with it anymore and so i told everyone i was going to go emo they were like yeah right we don't belive you then one day i went emo and i went cico and my familly and friends are like tanya calm down and stuff and i cut my self so much that i had to go to the hospital i mean i didn't think it was serious and now my friends and familly trate me differnt i mean i can kind of under stand but they treate me way differnt than my sister like she gets everything and i get **** i mean that is not right and with my friends sometimes they don't even act like true friends i have known all of my friens ethier for 3 or 2 years and i am not ready to lose them if you know something that i can do to cahnge the way i am getting trated plez help and contact me ASAP thanks.

I have 4 young adult/teenagers in the home, 3 are in college and 1 is a senior in high school.

The college children also work.

We have a big home (3000sq ft) for me to clean all alone. My husband and II work full time and also have a 7 yr old.

I have pretty much always done all the household chores and I'm just know as the nag because I am alwasy asking them to pick up. They can't even keep their rooms cleaned. Each has their own.

Today I put a chore list together for every day of the week consisting of.
Cleaning their room
Cleaning 2 bathrooms
Cleaning kithche, living room and family room.
They don't do everything each day. They have 3 chores 3 days a week.

Is that too much to ask for since they are college students and work?

I also cook for them every day.

My husband is pretty supportive and helps out. I want them to start helping out. They don't contibute to any part of household and we also pay their cell bills and help with tuition.

I've been on a lot of dates and had my fun but honestly I am feeling no urgency to be in a relationship again. I often wonder if I ever will, I guess Im worried of being in the mindset I am right now for the rest of my life. I'm scared to be one of those single scorned burned women who's a manhater. I just feel like I have so much to do, raise my children, excel at work that there's no time for anyone...is that being selfish? My ex has already moved on and embarking upon a new relationship, he asked me tonight if I was seeing anyone and just the thought of it, I'm like no thank you. Help! Is there anyone else out there that feels the same way I do?

my mom has been acting funny lately..now shes always watching me and stuff...i have this website where i customize sneakers and sell them(im a sneaker freak)..she never knew about this and i dont know how she found out but im guessing it was my sister.now she says i cant do it anymore..i dont know why shes acting like this though..im getting good money for doing this..my sneakers sell for at least $200 a pair and its not like i go around splurging..i put most of my money away so i dont see what the problem is..and i pay for the supplies myself now and i even buy my clothes and some clothes for my brothers and my sister so thats less money that she has to spend...should i just keep makeing sneakers since im getting good money off of doing it??

Look, i dont care how old i am, like many of you will most likely say "youre too young to think that" and the truth is i dont care.

But im all paranoid right now because of my girlfriend. I mean she changed my life....she changed it drastically for the better....
And i dont know what id do without her, i feel lost just thinking about losing her.

to you this is just gonna sound stupid and unmeaningful, but to me,, im sitting here putting emotion into it just so it can be passed and never read.

My husband and I have been married for 1 yr. I told him in oct that I cheated on him almost 7 yrs ago!!! He always used to ask me, but I always denied it and finally told him. I then told him I was pregnant. Ive had my daughter now, but before she was born, he told me either we could split up or I could stay and let him do his thing. So he has been messing with this other girl for about 10mos. I have seen pictures of her naked in his phone and text messages. He tells her that when the time is right he will make that move, but he hopes she will be ready. I believe she is a young girl. But we live together in this house with our daughter and his two other kids. I have seen messages to her talking about how he felt he was in an "it relationship" but he now knows that this girl is the one he wants to be with. I belive they have traveled together and they might have a kid...or she is pregnant. He always sends her messages about your future baby daddy jokes. Should I stay and wait for him?

I have been married for 4 years, together for 10. I am starting to get the feeling that he is not "in love" with me. I know he cares for me, he is not abusive or purposely mean. I just think that he is comfortable staying but doesn't have a passion anymore.

He doesn't go out of his way to do nice things for me. There is no romance at all. I haven't received a birthday, valentine or anniversary present/card in 5 years. I take care of all the bills, laundry, car repairs, yard work, cooking, cleaning etc. He knows I work my butt off for us but doesn't want to help me. No thank, nothing. I've caught him browsing the internet at other women's pictures and profiles on myspace. Not only other women but one' s that live in the area. I've tried to talk to him that I feel unappreciated and he just gets mad.

Anyone have any input? What ever happened to the fire in love, the romance? . I am thankful to have him but want us both to be happy. I want a husband, not just a roommate.

have no sex life to speak of? I've never really understood this. There are people who are deprived sexually and rely upon porn to some degree to derive sexual pleasure. Is that so bad? I don't think so. And, I would also venture to say that those of you who are so dead set against most likely have very satisfying sex lives. Obviously, some of you have no idea what it's like to go without. If you did, you wouldn't be so judgmental of those who patronize the porn industry. Afterall, some of these folks aren't as fortunate as yourselves in establishing relationships in which sexual satisfaction flourishes. Maybe you should consider this the next time you get the urge to give porn that bad rap I was speaking of...

I've been with my "husband-to-be" for almost 5 years now and we have a 7 month old daughter together. We've been through a lot and have talked about separating so many times, and yet we're still together. We fight almost everyday. whenever he gets a job he tends to focus on his work that he barely has anytime for his family. My boyfriend and I have been together for 8 years. We are highschool sweetherts. He has always treated me like dirt, and cheated on me. Yet I always took him back because I was in love with him. Last year, I found out he slept with someone I knew and grew up with. Since then, I have gained 55 pounds, and am a bit chunky. I eat when depressed or angry. Just now, he said he wanted us to be over, and said HORRIBLE things, calling me a fat ***, making fun of the clothes I wear, calling me a "B". One thing I will quote he said is, "Who in the hell would look at you? You aren't going to get any guys! You're nothing but a "f-ing" ugly fat ***!"

That cut me so deeply, and to top it all off, I have a upper respiritory infection, and feel miserable! I feel like I could just stay in bed forever, and I am already on Paxil for depression. I know they are only words, but after 8 years, and looking into his eyes, he really feels this way about me!!! Does anyone have advice to move on? God Bless!

Tonight we were driving down the street and my husband noticed a bunch of toddlers (well they looked 3 or 4 years old) playing "pee-wee" football or whatever it's called. He then shouted "Look at those tiny kids playing football!". I said "Mmmm ... hmmm" like I usually would. I didn't feel like stretching my neck to look around (because we were passing them up by that time). He blurted out "You're not gonna be a good parent". I immediately took offense to that. I asked him why and he said because I have no interest in anything. Why, because I didn't burst in excitement when you saw the kids playing football?

Another instance where he does this ALL the time is he will looking at something sports related, historic, or scientific on the computer. He'll call me and tell me to come look at this.
