I met my wife at work. She was applying to me for a job at my uncles restaurant. I thought she was weird, but after I got to know her (within 30 days) I asked her to marry me, she accepted instantly (which blew my mind) and 16 years, four kids, three dogs and four cats later, I still like her, though I love to complain.

So, where did you meet your husband or wife?

I should add that we've had our problems, but we've survived them.

And I'm always shy when around him..damn!
And I don't want to tell him directly that I like him because I'm not sure he likes me.
He invited me out for dinner twice but we didn't touch this matter at all ( we almost didn't talk). I'm dying to tell him but I don't want to lose him if I do.
What should I do?

I know this just makes me sound so old but it breaks my heart to see the kids(18-22) who work for me find out they are going to be Moms or Dads. They are just babies! So many of them have sooo much potential! I just feel they have stunted their future with the added responsibility of a family. It just breaks my heart!

shes been acting weird lately...now she always thinks im hiding something when all i wanna do is come home and go to sleep....she thinks im drug dealing or something when i go outside to hang out with friends or when i go to the store when all im really doing is skateboarding or buying paint stuff...plus she doesnt even let me do what i want..all i want to do is customize sneakers and she says no when i pay for the supplies and the sneakers myself..then she gets mad yells at me for no reason.. and now my father wont even talk to me becuz of all the lies she is making up about me drug dealing and being apart of a gang...she acts fine to my brothers and my sister...she only acts this way to me and i just wanna know what her problem is.. what should i do??

This girl was sitting across the room from me in class and came and sat next to me, asked me if the computer next to me was free, it was. A few minutes into the class she said how slow the computer was and about how boring the class was, I agreed fully. I talked to her a bit during the rest of the class class. After class we were the only ones left cause of a small mishap, she asked for my name and I don't know if she heard me ask for hers, which I did, but she told me anyway. While making our way through the building to the exit she asked me where i lived, she told me where she did and about her schedule. She asked if I was new to the class, I wasn't. Outside she asked how I was getting home then about my major, my age, and some things about me. I walked with her to the train station where the convo ended. She said bye I said bye then I heard her say Thank you. I was confused and still am till now. I don't want to get ahead of myself but is what i think happening happening?

I am so mad! I left town for a business trip and made it quite clear to my 17 yr old daughter, no parties, no boys in the house while I'm gone. I came home today to find my home completely destroyed and many items stolen. Oh yeah, big BIG party. The carpets are filthy, the floors are stained with pen ink, there are 3 holes that were punched in my walls, broken chairs, my brand new dining table scratched up. I accidently left my wedding set at home because I had put lotion on my hands and was in a rush and it was stolen. My daughter says she has no idea who did it. I'm ready to call the police and report this incident but have no names. She is grounded until my property shows up. Any parents ever have a problem like this with their kids? Is it best to just put them on lockdown until they're old enough to act responsibly? I cant even believe this happened. She's usually such a good kid.

I love my wife; she is younger than me, beautiful and has a great sense of humor. But when she gets mad she starts insulting, beating me and saying terrible things. This is my 8th time that she slaps me in the face or hit me hard with a bat when she gets upset. Every time we receive help from friends, physiologist, she always talks the most awful things about me instead of being at my side. We have been into 4 counseling sessions and the 4 therapist's advice is to get away from her since she is violent and doesn’t respect... I am trying to avoid divorce and she doesn’t want to get help even though she admit the aggression problem. Now she threat me of comiting suicide.. im going crazy... it seems that the only thing that worries her is being back at her mom’s house or having to work since I provided her with everything. I don’t want to sound as a dork but I am just trying to save this marriage. I just dont know how to handle this and need advice from serious users please.

as addition to what my last post said, i do show her shes special, i clal her, buy her things, show her i care, every day, she just says i get annoyig and she needs her alone time, when i found out she was tlaking to him i confronted her a month ago and she said she didnt know if we were goina get back togeather so she didnt wanna be hurt by finding someone else and it was over and done with, should i break up with her and see what she does? but i cant loose her shess my life i love her to death for real, and i dont iknow wht to do if i break upw ith her theres a chance shell forget about me and find someone else rather realize how much she loves me, hence the fact that my plan might backfire, i dont know what to do.. i just dont know if i should confront her about him over her house that i didnt know about. or let it go.. problem is she still says im annoying and i dont loeave her alone.. i just wanna be with her and be happy, i tried talking, buying her stuff, telling her, HELP

So i know that everywhere is different according to pay... but I am desperatly in need of a job! What are some part time jobs that are fun, and good pay! i used to work at a Brusters ice cream store but i moved west and there aren't any brusters out here... i was thinking about a job at COldstones, but it doesn't pay well at ALL!
Please help, my parents are getting mad because i don't have a job, and heck, i really rather not be broke any longer!

So, a few weeks ago I cheated on my bf with a guy I met and I wrote & sent a letter to him telling him that I did, but then all of a sudden, his family members start calling me, first his brother and then about 20 minutes later his grandma, and asking me why I did that (sent the letter).. Personally I think he has more of a right to know than they do, but yea.. Anyways, they were all trying to think of ways to keep it from him. Should I be mad about that, first off?

Then, I am supposed to be moving in with him in like a few weeks (yea I know I am stupid for cheating) but everyone is like just come down anyways, but I am thinking I'm not going down until I hear something from him. I mean it's his extremely meddling family telling me to still come down and what not, but I haven't heard anything from him and I am assuming he has known for almost a week now. I don't know what to do. Should I stay here and wait to hear from him (like I want to) or go like his family is telling me to?

Here's the sceneraio: Husband and wife are separated after
husband gets caught cheating with 30 yr. old. Husband is
48 anf wife is 50. Husband comes to visit wife and pays her
a compliment: "You look pretty.Your new hair cut and style
take tons of years off you." He's spanish. Is it a language
problem? Was he trying to say something nice and it didn't
come out that way or is it his subconcious .....deep inside he
thinks his wife looked old before and he likes younger
women....and let this slip out uncousciously. If the wife takes
it the wrong way...maybe she's insecure or low self esteem.
Or, maybe he is showing that he favors younger women.
Mind you...the wife looks younger than 50 but of course,
does not look like a 30 yr old. What do you think? Is it a
compliment he gave her and felt she looked pretty and
wanted her to know it? Or, is this part of the problem...he
likes women only by how they look and of course...a younger
woman fits the bill.

Has anyone ever drunk dialed someone they had just started dating? My friends said that A girl who drunk dials you " isnt worth it".
