He and his ex broke up almost a year ago, but I've heard him say how much he misses her a few times. She lives about 6 hours away. I don't think they talk anymore.

Do you have any advice on helping him really get over her? Obviously time doesn't always do the trick.

My boyfriend plays video games 24/7 and hes 20 years old!!! he invited me over yesterday to hang out and i asked him for it to be just us and he responded with of course. so i get there and 3 of his friends are there and they ALL brought their xboxes and ps2s with their t.v.s!!!! all of them were playing together. i left about 4 hours into all of this and i was gone for 30 minutes before he even noticed i was gone. I mean like everywhere.. out to eat, shopping, and it's always with THEIR friends. I just sit there and do nothing but look at the wall or table the whole time. I mean I get a "hey, how are you? how's school?" and that's it.

What the hell is the point of making me go places with them? I really do not understand.

she showed alot of signs of liking me i berly know her but now all she does is ignore me and hang on this other guy that is her friend (there not GF and BF) could she be playing hard to get she still steals a glace at me sometimes and walk really close to me (in my personal space) and brush up agaisnt me

My husband has always been very supportive of his mother. He loves her very much but doesn't like her choices. We've been married two years. We're both college grads and value hard work. His mother has done domestic work for a living and has always had government assistance. My husband expresses his concern to her about her future b/c she doesn't have any $ saved. He offered to help her in bettering herself...job skill training...starting her own cleaning business...$ for education..etc. He was willing to help her help herself. He was very persistent and she refused the help, making excuses about why she couldn't do anything for herself. Also she hasn't worked in awhile. She's in serious financial trouble and blames my husband for not paying it! When he mentions helping her 'help herself' (getting a job) she blows up! She spread lies about us and tries to manipulate and use the 'guilt trip'. We're in our 20's & just starting out. She's 54. Talking hasn't worked. What should we do?

I have a brother who is always saying that he's going to pay someone off to throw me in a mental home. Is this possible? he says that I don't deserve to be in public and that when our parents die he's going to try and get custody of me and throw me away for life. I'm very coherent and I know where I am and I'm not crazy. Could he really do this? Could I get him in trouble with the law for threating me?...This really isn't a joke...and I'm the oldest one. I take care of myself, and I'm not mentally retarded. Its just threats he makes because he thinks I shouldn't exsist....help?

My mum and dad argue a lot... When this happens I am being put in the middle and it is like choosing every single time who I love more. Don't get me wrong, I love my parents so much and it is pretty painful seeing them going through all this. When they are both happy and not mad at each other I get amused how much they love each other. They both had bad problems at work (my dad had to find a new job because of political issues and my mum's school got closed so she has to work in another town) so they are both under a lot of pressure.
My mama never cries... now when I see her doing it, I don't know what to tell her... I can't be the parent of two kids who don't want to forgive each other!
How do I make things better for them and help them realize that they need the other one to survive? Sorry it is so long but I have to help them... I love them too much to watch them hurt each other!

2 years ago my friend passed away and right before she passed me and her got into a fight. This is hard to say but I told her that I would not care if i ever saw her again.

I still get upset at the fact I said that. I can not make peace with myself that she is gone and everything that has happend. I am only 17. My parents wont let me goto her grave or tell me were it is. Is there anyway of finding out where she is? Her parents moved away and I cant talk to them. I just want to make peace of this. I hate it, I miss her and I want her back in my life. I cant move on. I want to. Ive tried to pray to her and tell her im sorry. Ive writtin a note and let it go in the sky saying im sorry. I just cant make peace...what should i do?

Me and my partner will be getting married Nov. 1, 2007 for the moment we live together. I have held off telling my 9 yr old son. However my 15 year old is very much aware of my relationship and our intentions. We ALL have concerns regarding my youngest understandings of the relationship. My husband is an alcoholic he has lost his job so now we have lost everything! I cant work because I just delivered a baby besides Im not living with my husband because of his problem. My fiancee is in the navy. We are seperated right now by a few states. I am having some trust issues. Really bad ones. For reasons that i would rather not go into. But...I know (cause i'm a military member myself) that infidellity and cheating goes on. Whether they get caugt up in the moment (cause they think they wont be found out) or for whatever reason. But she is out of the country right now and i didnt hear from her for like 24 hours. I had to find her hotel room and ask to be transfered. I am not a jealous man by nature. But this navy realtionship has me wondering about the morality of navy personel and the fact that they all tend to cheat. I have been in a marrage that dissolved cause I was cheated on. I know we are not all like that, but...what the hell??? Why cant people be faithful...and why are people that have been cheated on so paranoid of it going on under thier nose. It ruins realtionships, I know...i'm in that situation now. I dont want it to hurt us. I am TERRIFIED!
