I met my wife at work. She was applying to me for a job at my uncles restaurant. I thought she was weird, but after I got to know her (within 30 days) I asked her to marry me, she accepted instantly (which blew my mind) and 16 years, four kids, three dogs and four cats later, I still like her, though I love to complain.
So, where did you meet your husband or wife?
I should add that we've had our problems, but we've survived them.

I met my husband at the neighborhood corner bar 30 years ago. We have been married for a little over 28 years and we have a 26 year old son.

Thats a beautiful love story, ia'm really happy for the both of you.;;;;;;; i meet my husband in panama, he was in the army i met him at a wedding;;; my god-- sister was getting married and he was the best man and i was a bride maid; at first i was really shy. because ia'm a panamenian and my english was not that good because i speak a lot of spanish i mean we do speak english back home but at the time i was, young and kind of shy. and i did not had a boy friend he was my first boy friend. any way, my god';;;;;; sister got married and we were sitting at our table with the other prople and we start talking about our family and friends one thing lead to another he asked me out on a date and i accepted we dated each other for 30 days and we got married at the same church and we invited the same people, my family was not too happy about it that much, because my mom was afraid he will leave me behi n d because some womem got left behind by they husband back home it was something, the (GI) was doing, so i came to america 3 months afther we were married and thank god we are still together i have a step;;;;;; daughter ;;;;; and 2 children with my husband, we have been married for 34 years ;;;;;;;;; we have 4 grand kids and 1 more and the way. and we have a wedding anniversary comiing up on october the 14tn. so yes we had our ups and down but we , tought it out and stay;;;;; together in the bad and good times and our love for each other is still in the air is a good feeling;;; and up to today my familt stillook up to him.;;;; take care;;;;; be ;; bless.

I met my husband in a yahoo chatroom about 9 years ago. We've been married for 7 years and have 2 children. Still very much in love, although I wouldn't recommend meeting people you talk to online to anyone else.

I met my Husband at a Scout meeting 27 yr's ago. Been married for 20 yr's and had up'/ down's too. But, I wouldn't change anything... Even the rufff patches.... That's life.

I met my husband online. We have been together almost 5 years married 2 1/2 years. We are very much still in love. It hasn't been easy, but worth it.

I met my spouse at a dating chatline (I didn't like going to bars and clubs so I tried this dating service). It's similar to lava link. It's where single people (or people claiming to be single) call a local dating phone line and if they like the person's greeting or messages, they can request to connect live with the person and chat with them. This was free for women to call and men had a trial period. Well I met my spouse the same day I talked to him over the phone, I just went with my intuition and now we've been married for over 5 years (been together for 10) and we have 1 son between us. We have had our share of problems that we worked on together and that's why we've been together for this long and still going strong.

That's awesome! I hope I last that long with my man. I"m too much in love with him right now to tel where our union is headed. But we have no problems at present. I met my man in India. IT was an arranged marriage. But we did have a three month courtship(a long time in arranged marriage time), and we did become acquaintances. ANd yeah, by the time our wedding day rolled around...I was in love with him. So, I loved the man i married, and still do. It's almost been four months.
