My husband is the only one working right now as I quit my job 3 months ago. I have my own personal money saved and have put most of that money in with the household money so my husband would have to support the family alone.

The lie.... there was this pair of killer earrings at the jewerly store that I had to have. They were 1700 buck but on sale for 700. I put them on a charge account that we already have....even though it didn't affect of payments I had to tell my husband that my mom gave them to me because he would have laid a golden cow if he thought that I bought them myself. Should I just let it slide or tell him the truth anyway?

It is a waste of time and money. Check the statistics. The only way your spouse will change their behavior is if they decide to. They chose to be happy and choose to be jerks. You choose if you want to tolerate it but know that no counselor can rescue you from yourself or your crappy marriage. It is up to you. It is your life. Take control of it.

What makes people decide to stop waving at each other. For example, I have a neighbor that always used to wave when he drove or walked by my house. Now he has stopped, and doesn't wave back to me. He acts like we have never met. Why?

My on again off again relationship with my gf is getting to me now. We live long distance and when I went there the last time I found lubricant in her side drawer. I knew it wasn't from me and it made me sick to see it because in my heart I knew she had someone else there. We are lesbians. I didn't question her but I was standoffish. Then I found her name on a lesbian personals looking for someone else and so we got into a fight. She never pays for the personal ad, she's too cheap she just gets the flirts or kisses that are free. Anyhow, I got home and we argued and I hung up on her. I then emailed her on all I knew. She emailed back and basically said that it's not true it's not her on the personal site which is a lie and said NOTHING about the lubricant. I've never hung up on her. She's always hung up on me and said it's over. I did it this time before she could. She kept sending me emails yesterday and I wouldn't respond and then I responded to one saying she owed me.

I have been committed to my newly ex-GF for two years, we've been living together the entire time. My ex-wife (of ten) years and I have maintained somewhat of a friendship mostly phone calls. Initially we had more contact, she would call when she needed help, and I have no problem with that. I also attended one pre-Christmas get-together with some of her immediate family, GF not invited due to her sensitivity on the friendship.
I am fully aware of my GF's insecurity over this matter, and feel like she considers her feelings more important than mine. At first, I'd take calls in front of her, she wasn't feeling it so the ex stopped calling when I was home, I don't spend time with family I've known and loved for ten plus years.
Also how bad would it be to maybe once every two months to have lunch in public with my ex?

That your husbands friends are supposed to keep an eye on you while your husband is gone on a trip or something to make sure no one touches you or trys to get with you, but then hits on you to see if you would stray from your hubby?

Because awhile back my husband was in New York on leave while I was still attending a school(we are both in the military), his one buddy would keep an eye on me tell all the guys to leave me alone at the club and then turn around and hit on me.

I asked my husband about this he says that's what guys do, because their friends will be the first to tell on you for something. I felt upset that he felt that he needed to have his friend test my faithfulness to him.

I've lived in Southern Illinois my entire life, we have what's a lot like a watered down Western Kentucky accent. A slight southern twang I guess. So I just moved into a dorm more up north with a lot of people from Chicago. Mostly everyone almost always mentions my accent. So is this a bad thing when talking to the Chicago girls? I'm pretty sure I could at least northern it up a little if needed.

My ex ended things 6 mths ago. It was very serious, things changed over a fairly short period when she said her feelings had changed.

I tried to sort things with her for app 1 mth, she didn;t want to get back together.

We lost touch for 2 mths, we both dated other people briefly, neither worked.

We then got back in touch. Although we put the "as friends" label on it, it clearly wasn't. We lapsed back into doing exactly the sort of stuff we did when together, cooking for each other etc. There was clearly still attraction there.

After 2 mths of this, I decided to let things develop and give her space, I raised us trying again. We had been sat around talking about all the good stuff we did together etc My ex said she didn;t want to try again but, bizarrely, agreed we were very good together.

I said being friends wouldn't work, we would be putting a label on something that wasn't true.

I said we shouldn't be in touch unless she realised she had made a mistake.

Thoughts?

My husband got a job that took him away from home for 6 months. When he first left, he called and talked to me all the time and I could call and talk to him when ever I wanted, but after he was there about 2 months, one of his buddies went down to work also, well they ended up being roommates.
After that, my husband wouldn't talk to me on the phone unless he was away from his buddy or buddies, if I called him in his room or called him on his cell phone and he was with someone, he always told me he would call me back.
Usually when he called me back he was calling from out in the hallway away from everyone.
I told him that it hurt my feelings that he couldn't talk to me around anyone, he said that he just wanted our conversations to be privite, he also said that he didn't know why that would hurt my feelings.
We've been married for 15 years. Talking to each other around other people had never been a problem before this....
what do you think

First off, this is my best guy friend. He gives me compliments all the time, like these:

1. "I like the way you smell."
2. "I like your style."
3. "You're the best."
4. "You're fun to hang out with."

I recently caught him looking at me through a crowd of people before he left. He always offers to give me a ride to places. We only hang out once a week because he has 2 jobs, but he calls often and we chat on AIM almost every night. Everytime he goes to the movies, I go to with him. He usually talks alot, but lately there have been moments of silence when we talk on the phone.

What do you think? Does he like me as more than a friend? I'm not sure because he is friendly to everyone, but he is more friendly towards me. I'm confused. Please help.

Alright! This one is mainly for the guys. How aggrivated would you get if you were told by a very attractive women that she has just finalized her divorce and you were indireclty asked about your own status (grounded or still flying high), hint-hint? Would you consider this cruelty? Oh and your married too.
Ladies, don't freak out just yet. Yes the ring was shown to end the subject with this person.

He works out of town and stays there and comes home every 11 days for 4 days. I have always been suspicious of who he is around and what he does while there, and we've had many arguements over it. I would nag and b**** all the time.
Two yrs ago, while we were talking on the phone, I did my usual nagging and he said, i'm thinking divorce, I think I like being alone, and I want to be selfish and buy and have things I want. I asked if he still loved me and he said I don't know. Anyway, for about 3 or 4 months after that conversation he would still call every evening and come home as usual, BUT he didn't talk and wouldn't look at me. He didn't mention divorce again though. I simply made myself do a complete turn around and stopped nagging and suspicious attitude hoping he would love me again. He slowly came around and wants me to go everywhere w/him again and says I love you all the time again. Doesn't feel like he means it thought. He is still pretty distant. What could be going on?
