Well i only have a personal note for this. some fabrics made from wool shrink but they conntain other things and chemicals other than the sheeps wool so basically his fur wont shrink when it rains.

It's not the rain that makes them shrink, it's when you throw them in the dryer......course finding a dryer that will hold a screaming, p**sed off sheep is a bit difficult...:)
