That your husbands friends are supposed to keep an eye on you while your husband is gone on a trip or something to make sure no one touches you or trys to get with you, but then hits on you to see if you would stray from your hubby?

Because awhile back my husband was in New York on leave while I was still attending a school(we are both in the military), his one buddy would keep an eye on me tell all the guys to leave me alone at the club and then turn around and hit on me.

I asked my husband about this he says that's what guys do, because their friends will be the first to tell on you for something. I felt upset that he felt that he needed to have his friend test my faithfulness to him.

that's not how it should work but a lot of the time guys will do it. they don't have the logic that we do. you must have passed since you are now married!

You are not a child and do not need someone keeping an eye on you while hubby is out of town. If you wanted to live with a parent, you would've stayed living at home with your own. He is off his rocker and an insecure, selfish jerk. How disrespectful. His "friend" is a creep and if hubby thinks that his friend's behavior is acceptable because "that's what guys do" I would be very concerned about what my husband does when I am not looking. For him to worry about you cheating on him makes me worry about him cheating on you. Any time I have had a suspicious man, he was cheating himself. Really. Don't tolerate his crap. Either he trusts you and that's that or he gets out. You need a best friend -- not an insecure idiot.

Yes indeed it does work that way, and formed the plot for several of Shakespeare's plays including Othello. Brush up your Shakespeare and find some suitable revenge - maybe turn him into a donkey? Check out 'The Merry Wives of Windsor" for some good ways to set up the spy-friend for a fall.

Hmmmm it sounds like he doestn trust you much. Sounds like he is insecure and wants to make sure you remember who you belong too! I would be insulted that he had his friends watching me! My hubby is gone Monday thru Friday for work and home on weekends and his friends sure dont check up on me! If I need anything I can always call them and they will be there for me but as far as following me around- GOD no! Tell your hubby how this makes you feel! Be honest and tell him u find it insulting!

Ummm my husband is deployed right now, and he doesnt have cronies check up on me. I have friends I can call on to help if I need it, but no one 'babysits'. He sounds like he has trust/control issues. Never has one of my husband;s friends tested me like that.

I would be upset that he didn't get right dead in that guys face about hitting on you. What is up with that? Are you saying he told the guy to hit on you? What a toad.

No, thats not how it works, that shows how much he trusts you. If he loves you fully he would have faith that you wouldnt do nothing you wouldnt want him to do and vice versa. It seems like he has more trust in his friend than he do is Wife.

It might be "how it works", but I have never had one of my friends act as my wife's chastity belt. I have also never asked a friend to "test" my g/f or wife. Either he trusts you or he does not.
