Ok so this guy and I were dating like a lifetime ago and recently he contacted me saying he still loves me and all this crap. I've told him that I am happy with my fiance with 2 beautiful children but he seems to not get it that there will never be anything there. He's in the military so he spends the majority of his time away from home and he doesn't even see his child most of the time. Well I deleted him from my contacts on everything but still he manages to send me messages here and there. What else could I tell him to make him understand that I am happy and I am not planning to ruin my family?

I have been seeing the same man for into the third year...we are a committed couple, and we are not kids... He has a house and a huge place to work for his job--and needs that space----, and wants me to move into his house. He would find moving an inconvenience and extremely distruptive to his life. And, he as well states, that "We have only travelled together, how do we know that we CAN live together?"

I hate the house, just hate it. I am incredibly uncomfortable there..and it feels like a disaster even before living there...I'd become depressed beyond my wildest nightmares, and get so just thinking about it....... his 30 year marriage died in it for starters. To him, it is just a house...Q.1. Is it irrational to not like something like that?

Also, he admitted that he wasn't sure of his level of affection for me, but I am treated like a princess, and most of his thoughts, he admits, are surrounded by me.. "I love you" is not part of his vocabulary.....
Q. 2 (Next)

lately my mum feels melancholy all the time. she is depressed and i wanna help but she doesn't let me. she has very few friends but she doesn't go out at all. she says that she is tired of being the first one to call them. my dad is so busy with his job that doesn't give a f*** about the situation. i think that they don't like each other anymore. once i told her about divorce but i understood that she is afraid of that and consequences that it has. she says that the kids(me+bro) won't feel good about it but watching her like this hurts me so much. and her job is so stressful and she wants to change it. she is 49 years old but acts like 70. help me plz

I am confused because I have a close friend of almost 5 years and I don't know what to do about it. She is a really good friend, and I don't know if she likes as more than a friend or not. She says she doesn't but the way she behaves is almost contrary to what she says. I don't really know what to think because I don't like her as more than a friend and I don't want anything to change. I just don't want things to be awkward. Any advice as to what I should do and how I could tell maybe what she is thinking about in this whole situation?

I have this friend who I’ve known for about a year or so, and over that year I’ve learned that she doesn’t have a good reputation, she has a reputation of being a s***. She’s a senior and college and I’m a freshman in high school. I’m just afraid that because I am so naïve, and I hang out with her, I will get that reputation. A lot of my friends and family told me to stop hanging out with her. But how do? I can’t just cut her out of my life. I hardly see her, because she lives in North Carolina, and I live in Florida. But when we see each other at functions, we hang out together. I just don’t know how to stop hanging out with her. It wasn’t like I didn’t give her try, I’ve known about her reputation for a while, but I thought, you can’t judge a person from what you have heard, but now I’ve hung out with her enough to understand what my friends were talking about. Please try not to judge me so bad…I just don’t know what to do and I need your help. How do I stop hanging out with her?

I do. I feel discouraged because I have to clean up from a water heater disaster by myself. My husband's in poor health and my kids are "too busy" (not too busy to ask for financial help, just too busy to lend a helping hand when I need it).

Wow, I really am feeling sorry for myself. Maybe I should eat an ice cream before I start work!

My husband said that he has thought about cheating because we haven't had sex in such a long time. I mean, I haven't been in the mood to. I feel like everything on my body is swollen and I just can't wait to have this baby. He also informed me that he had been slightly flirting (playful/joking sexual innuendos) with other women and they are women that we both know and interact with. I broke down in tears because I already feel undesirable and that added insult to injury. I am also embarrassed to look those women in their faces because of what they think I don't know. Am I overreacting by being pissed and hurt by him? I mean, I really haven't felt like having sex or even being intimate. I'm about to deliver soon so my stomach feels like it is going to explode. Am I wrong?

I still love him and I still want to be with him. He broke up with me a few months ago after 3 year relationship. It's been really hard for me and quite painful. I wanted to cut contact with him since I know that staying in contact hurts but he did not want that. He gets all upset and sad when I want to do that. He ended it because he didn't want to have a long-distance anymore but he tells me for now it's the end until the situation changes in case we move closer. He tried to find a job closer but he didn't get one he wanted. We are meeting each other soon to talk about everything face to face. We argue over the phone because I get upset if he is not there for me. He tells me that it would make him feel sick imagining me with someone else and I told him the same. I just don't know what to do. I want to cut contact to forget but I worry it may finish everything for good. But he says he doesn't want to be with me now in a long-distance anymore. When I meet him how should I be with him?

Ifind that holding a wedding banquet is kind of old-fashioned. I don't mind attending weddings and I truly feel happy for the couples but to think of myself holding a wedding banquet. I don't fancy wearing a bridal gown and taking beautiful shots. In fact, I think the photos don't symbolise anything. I don't even think Ineed a wedding ring on my finger anyway. I just think most people want tohold awedding banquet because they want to let others know they are getting married and they don't want to lose face. is there such a need?

My mum thinks the opposite. She wants me to go through a formal wedding ceremony and hold a big wedding feast for all our relatives and friends. She likes everyone to join in the happy occasion. Isn't it kind of show-off?

Marriage is between 2 parties. Why must we make it so grand? What's the point? Is my thinking weird?

It seems like it should be easy. Go out, dinner, movie, good conversation and great sex. Why is it so difficult for women to just enjoy it? Why all the games? Would women tolerate this kind of behavior in a man?

Ok, well I met this amazing guy, we have like a million things in common and we talk on the phone almost every night at least 3 or more hours...and we talk on the computer everyday (we send messages then we talk about stuff on the phone at night) problem is he lives in California, and I live in North Carolina...we had this whole plan that the summer when he was 18, he would move down here a year before college and stay with me, but he turns 18 next year, but his birthday is after summer, so It would pretty much be 2 and half or more years before we could be together, we both want to be but there are fears of what if we meet other people? He said he wants to visit me even if it is as friends, but he said he would make me fall back into love with him, when we were friends because we just really have strong feelings for each other. And even if we haven't met in person, we still know everything about one another. What do we do!? lol =]

My husband and I are having some marital problems. I have no family in Ohio so I was thinking about going to Florida to visit my sister and her family for a short while. I am not trying to take my son away from his father by no means. But, I feel that he will make this claim. Can I go without any legal trouble?

I am in love with my boyfriend who I have been living with for 4 months. He's the most important thing in my life and I know that I want to spend the rest of my life with him. In the beginning, he was talking about marriage and kids and he asked me to move in and it was beautiful.. I moved my bed in (he had just moved in 3 months ago) and we would go to bed together every night and talk a little bit. It was wonderful to sleep next to him every night. The bed is a pillowtop and a bit too soft for us now. He'll sleep in the Lay-Z-Boy in the living room or on the couch and I've been sleeping out there with him when I'm here because I just want to be close to him. I feel like we're growing apart and have told him that I can't sleep in that bed by myself because it's too big.
My dad is thinking bout selling his house and moving upstate and wants me to go with him. I would be miserable without my boyfriend, but he just doesn't plan ahead anymore like he used to. What do I do?

My fiance's sister will be a bridesmaid in our wedding. I've decided on a pale pink, green and ivory color theme. (inspired by pink tulip, green viburnum and ivory rose bouquet) My close friend, also a bridesmaid, has vetoed pink as a bridesmaid dress color, and I'm sympathetic to that. Pink is a tricky color. Not all women are pink kind of women. Green seems pretty innocuous though; I'm not talking candy apple or easter egg green, more of a muted, sophisticated one. Fiance recently conveys to me that his sister cannot stand the thought of a green dress, never wears green, would look awful etc.-the last part isn't true, well, except in her own head, she's a very pretty young woman with black hair and a nice tan in all seasons. We're not close (she's nearly ten years younger) and she hasn't brought this up with me herself. So, what do you think. Do I give in to her and re-arrange the color theme I've enamored with (found but not purchased flowers, coordinating invites etc.) or not?
