You feel bad because you had (and probably still have) genuine warm feelings for a longstanding friendship...these things don't just evaporate overnight. But as you've also stated, you are convinced that this was the right decision, therefore, though a certain amount of heartache is to be expected, feeling guilty about it is pointless. Sadness will most definitely pass in time. If it helps you to know this, it takes many people nearly a lifetime to learn to make the kind of decision you've made....if they ever learn to at all. They're never easy but they are sometimes necessary. Nicely done.

it continually happens to me too... regardless of the undeniable fact that it won't advise which you close up your self off to new friendships although. I advise even although NOW issues are diverse and you're actually not acquaintances doesnt advise which you weren't in any respect acquaintances. There would desire to have been situations whilst it replaced into well worth being that guy or woman's pal top? in case you close up your self off to different new acquaintances, you will on no account have those thoughts back...even although ... so a techniques each and every of the acquaintances i've got ever had...are actually not any longer acquaintances of mine now, doesnt advise that the craze has to proceed. in keeping with possibility various the acquaintances I make now would be those to final a lifestyles time. perhaps as you become outdated and extra mature, the friendships final longer because of the fact there are much less infantile fights in touch? in keeping with possibility... do not provide up on acquaintances yet

your friend hurt you. either she gets that or not, but the reason why you feel bad, is because even tho she hurt you, you still had some good times with her. whether there were many or few times, idk, but you guys WERE friends. once you realize this, you'll feel better.
