i've a frnd. i've started lovin him...am 16..one day he came ovr 2 my place...my parents knew tht i ws goin around wid him..but tht day my dad saw us hugging each other..he askd me 2 cut off all relations wid him...but its nt so easy..i still love him...wat do i do???? n it ws jus a frndly hug...plz tell me wat 2 do

Talk to your mom, and then have her with you when you talk to your dad. It is very hard for a father to see his baby girl in the arms of any other man but daddy. Not a sexual thing, just dads hate to see their girls grow up. Also, they remember what scum they were as boys. Let him know that your are 16, that the things he and your mother taught you will hold you in good stead. Tell him that you are growing up, but will always love him. And should the time come for you where you wish to become sexually active, do not tell your dad.

no offense but i don't think that's love. you love the idea of him, but love is a lot more than your feeling. your only 16! talk to your dad why he wishes for you to not see him anymore. find a medium, maybe some how you can come to an understanding, but i really doubt it. he your parents are worry about your well being. what if you get pregnant? what if he loses interest in you? i'm not sure how old he is, but if he's around your age...well...guys are pigs and were not ashamed of what we do. just be careful! it takes one slip to fall.

i think ur dad is upset abt the hug...he wont listen to u even if u tell him that the hug was just as a friend bcoz ur just 16 n ur still a kid for ur parents....u better dont call ur bf at ur place...dont talk to him frequently n whenever u meet him or talk to him dont let ur parents know abt it...u can tell them when u get 18 or above.

as long as what you're doing is just an average relationship, you shouldn't cut it off just because your dad tells you to.
Unless there's a justifiable reason, just try and go behind his back maybe. Just talk to him first and see if you can convince him that ur bf isn't a bad guy.

sounds like my dad was when i was ur age.
i just talked to him and explained that it was friendly-nothing wrong-friends kinda hug.
after few days of me saying it over and over again he understood. they are very overprotective so they just trying to do everything they can so we dont come near men. all the way until my wedding he was like that.
so talk to him, he might be softer then u think. just ask why and talk to him. dont get mad and run out when he says no. try to see why he feels that way. then tell him how u feel about it.

doesnt sound simple but it worked for me.

Just explain to your dad that could work if not ive got a similar problem with a friend of mine my dad thinks shes bad company and says she drags attention to herself but he hasnt even met her before.... he told me not to get close to her yet we were already close friends so i just meet her anyway at the end of the day my dad doesn't monitor me i just say im going to town.
